1. हे बांझ तू जो पुत्राहीन है जयजयकार कर; तू जिसे जन्माने की पीड़े नहीं हुई, गला खोलकर जयजयकार कर और पुकार! क्योंकि त्यागी हुई के लड़के सुहागिन के लड़कों से अधिक होंगे, यहोवा का यही वचन है।
गलातियों 4:27

1. Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith Jehovah.

2. अपने तम्बू का स्थान चौड़ा कर, और तेरे डेरे के पट लम्बे किए जाएं; हाथ मत रोक, रस्सियों को लम्बी और खूंटों को दृढ़ कर।

2. Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thy habitations; spare not: lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes.

3. क्योंकि तू दहिने- बाएं फैलेगी, और तेरा वंश जाति- जाति का अधिकारी होगा और उजड़े हुए नगरों को फिर से बसाएगा।।

3. For thou shalt spread abroad on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall possess the nations, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.

5. क्योंकि तेरा कर्त्ता तेरा पति है, उसका नाम सेनाओं का यहोवा है; और इस्राएल का पवित्रा तेरा छुड़ानेवाला है, वह सारी पृथ्वी का भी परमेश्वर कहलाएगा।

5. For thy Maker is thy husband; Jehovah of hosts is his name: and the Holy One of Israel is thy Redeemer; the God of the whole earth shall he be called.

6. क्योंकि यहोवा ने तुझे ऐसा बुलाया है, मानो तू छोड़ी हुई और मन की दुखिया और जवानी की त्यागी हुई स्त्री हो, तेरे परमेश्वर का यही वचन है।

6. For Jehovah hath called thee as a wife forsaken and grieved in spirit, even a wife of youth, when she is cast off, saith thy God.

7. क्षण भर ही के लिये मैं ने तुझे छोड़ दिया था, परन्तु अब बड़ी दया करके मैं फिर तुझे रख लूंगा।

7. For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee.

8. क्रोध के झकोरे में आकर मैं ने पल भर के लिये तुझ से मुंह छिपाया था, परन्तु अब अनन्त करूणा से मैं तुझ पर दया करूंगा, तेरे छुड़ानेवाले यहोवा का यही वचन है।

8. In overflowing wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting lovingkindness will I have mercy on thee, saith Jehovah thy Redeemer.

9. यह मेरी दृष्टि में नूह के समय के जलप्रलय के समान है; क्योंकि जैसे मैं ने शपथ खाई थी कि नूह के समय के जलप्रलय से पृथ्वी फिर न डूबेगी, वैसे ही मैं ने यह भी शपथ खाई है कि फिर कभी तुझ पर क्रोध न करूंगा और न तुझ को धमकी दूंगा।

9. For this is [as] the waters of Noah unto me; for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah shall no more go over the earth, so have I sworn that I will not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.

10. चाहे पहाड़ हट जाएं और पहाड़ियां टल जाएं, तौभी मेरी करूणा तुझ पर से कभी न हटेगी, और मेरी शान्तिदायक वाचा न टलेगी, यहोवा, जो तुझ पर दया करता है, उसका यही वचन है।।

10. For the mountains may depart, and the hills be removed; but my lovingkindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall my covenant of peace be removed, saith Jehovah that hath mercy on thee.

11. हे दु:खियारी, तू जो आंधी की सताई है और जिस को शान्ति नहीं मिली, सुन, मैं तेरे पत्थरों की पच्चीकारी करके बैठाऊंगा, और तेरी नेव नीलमणि से डालूंगा।
प्रकाशितवाक्य 21:18-19

11. O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted, behold, I will set thy stones in fair colors, and lay thy foundations with sapphires.

12. तेरे कलश मैं माणिाकों से, तेरे फाटक लालड़ियों से और तेरे सब सिवानों को मनोहर रत्नों से बनाऊंगा।

12. And I will make thy pinnacles of rubies, and thy gates of carbuncles, and all thy border of precious stones.

13. तू धार्मिकता के द्वारा स्थिर होगी; तू अन्धेर से बचेगी, क्योंकि तुझे डरना न पड़ेगा; और तू भयभीत होने से बचेगी, क्योंकि भय का कारण तेरे पास न आएगा।
यूहन्ना 6:45

13. And all thy children shall be taught of Jehovah; and great shall be the peace of thy children.

14. तू धार्मिकता के द्वारा स्थिर होगी; तू अन्धेर से बचेगी, क्योंकि तुझे डरना न पड़ेगा; और तू भयभीत होने से बचेगी, क्योंकि भय का कारण तेरे पास न आएगा।

14. In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression, for thou shalt not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come near thee.

15. सुन, लोग भीड़ लगाएंगे, परन्तु मेरी ओर से नहीं; जितने तेरे विरूद्ध भीड़ लगाएंगे वे तेरे कारण गिरेेंगे।

15. Behold, they may gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall because of thee.

16. सुन, एक लोहर कोएले की आग धोंककर इसके लिये हथियार बनाता है, वह मेरा ही सृजा हुआ है। उजाड़ने के लिये भी मेरी ओर से एक नाश करनेवाला सृजा गया है।
रोमियों 9:22

16. Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the fire of coals, and bringeth forth a weapon for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.

17. जितने हथियार तेरी हानि के लिये बनाए जाएं, उन में से कोई सफल न होगा, और, जितने लोग मु ई होकर तुझ पर नालिश करें उन सभों से तू जीत जाएगा। यहोवा के दासों का यही भाग होगा, और वे मेरे ही कारण धर्मी ठहरेंगे, यहोवा की यही वाणी है।।

17. No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of Jehovah, and their righteousness which is of me, saith Jehovah.
