1. हे परमेश्वर मुझे छुड़ाने के लिये, हे यहोवा मेरी सहायता करने के लिये फुर्ती कर!

1. Hasten, O God, to deliver me. Make haste to help me, O LORD.

2. जो मेरे प्राण के खोजी हैं, उनकी आशा टूटे, और मुंह काला हो जाए! जो मेरी हानि से प्रसन्न होते हैं, वे पीछे हटाए और निरादर किए जाएं।

2. Let them be put to shame and confounded who seek after my soul. Let them be turned backward and brought to dishonor who delight in my hurt.

3. जो कहते हैं, आहा, आहा, वे अपनी लज्जा के मारे उलटे फेरे जाएं।।

3. Let them be turned back because of their shame who say, Aha, aha.

4. जितने तुझे ढूंढ़ते हैं, वे सब तेरे कारण हर्षित और आनन्दित हों! और जो तेरा उद्धार चाहते हैं, वे निरन्तर कहते रहें, कि परमेश्वर की बड़ाई हो।

4. Let all those who seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee. And let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.

5. मैं तो दीन और दरिद्र हूं; हे परमेश्वर मेरे लिये फुर्ती कर! तू मेरा सहायक और छुडानेवाला है; हे यहोवा विलम्ब न कर!

5. But I am poor and needy. Make haste to me, O God. Thou are my help and my deliverer, O LORD. Delay thou not.
