1. हे परमेश्वर, मेरा न्याय चुका और विधर्मी जाति से मेरा मुक मा लड़; मुझ को छली और कुटिल पुरूष से बचा।

1. Geue sentence vpon me (o God) & defende my cause agaynst the vnholy people: Oh delyuer me from the disceatfull & wicked man.

2. क्योंकि हे परमेश्वर, तू ही मेरी शरण है, तू ने क्यों मुझे त्याग दिया है? मैं शत्रु के अन्धेर के मारे शोक का पहिरावा पहिने हुए क्यों फिरता रहूं?

2. For thou (o God) art my stregth: why hast thou shot me from the? Why go I then so heuely, whyle the enemie oppresseth me?

3. अपने प्रकाश और अपनी सच्चाई को भेज; वे मेरी अगुवाई करें, वे ही मुझ को तेरे पवित्रा पर्वत पर और तेरे निवास स्थान में पहुंचाए!

3. Oh sende out yi light & thy trueth, yt they maye lede me & brynge me vnto thy holy hill and to thy dwellinge.

4. तब मैं परमेश्वर की वेदी के पास जाऊंगा, उस ईश्वर के पास जो मेरे अति आनन्द का कुण्ड है; और हे परमेश्वर, हे मेरे परमेश्वर मैं वीणा बजा बजाकर तेरा धन्यवाद करूंगा।।

4. That I maye go into the aulter of God, euen vnto the God which is my ioye & pleasure, & vpon the harpe to geue thakes vnto ye, o God, my God.

5. हे मेरे प्राण तू क्यों गिरा जाता है? तू अन्दर ही अन्दर क्यों व्याकुल है? परमेश्वर पर भरोसा रख, क्योंकि वह मेरे मुख की चमक और मेरा परमेश्वर है; मैं फिर उसका धन्यवाद करूंगा।।

5. Why art thou so heuy (o my soule) & why art thou so disquieted within me? O put thy trust in God, for I wil yet geue him thakes for ye helpe of his countenauce, and because he is my God.
