1. दूसरी चिट्ठी शमौन के नाम पर, अर्थात् शिमोनियों के कुलों के अनुसार उनके गोत्रा के नाम पर निकली; और उनका भाग यहूदियों के भाग के बीच में ठहरा।

1. And the second lot came out, for Simeon, for the tribe of the sons of Simeon, by their families, and their inheritance was in the midst of the inheritance of the sons of Judah.

2. उनके भाग में ये नगर हैं, अर्थात् बेर्शेबा, शेबा, मोलादा,

2. And they had for their inheritance, Beer-sheba or Sheba, and Moladah,

3. हसर्शूआल, बाला, एसेम,

3. and Hazar-shual, and Balah, and Ezem,

4. एलतोलद, बतूल, होर्मा,

4. and Eltolad and Bethul, and Hormah,

5. बेतलबाओत, और शारूहेन; ये तेरह नगर और इनके गांव उन्हें मिले।

5. and Ziklag and Beth-marcaboth, and Hazar-susah,

6. बेतलबाओत, और शारूहेन; ये तेरह नगर और इनके गांव उन्हें मिले।

6. and Beth-lebaoth, and Sharuhen, thirteen cities, with their villages:

7. फिर ऐन, रिम्मोन, ऐतेर, और आशान, ये चार नगर गांवों समेत;

7. Ain, Rimmon, and Ether and Ashan, four cities, with their villages,

8. और बालत्बेर जो दिक्खन देश का रामा भी कहलाता है, वहां तक इन नगरों के चारों ओर के सब गांव भी उन्हें मिले। शिमानियों के गोत्रा का भाग उनके कुलों के अनुसार यही ठहरा।

8. and all the villages that were round about these cities, as far as Baalath-beer, Ramah of the South. This, is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Simeon, by their families:

9. शिमोनियों का भाग तो यहूदियों के अंश में से दिया गया; क्योंकि यहूदियों का भाग उनके लिये बहुत था, इस कारण शिमोनियों का भाग उन्हीं के भाग के बीच ठहरा।।

9. Out of the portion of the sons of Judah, is the inheritance of the sons of Simeon, for it came to pass that what was allotted to the sons of Judah, was too much for them, therefore did the sons of Simeon receive an inheritance in the midst of their inheritance.

10. तीसरी चिट्ठी जबूलूनियों के कुलों के अनुसार उनके नाम पर निकली। और उनके भाग का सिवाना सारीद तक पहुंचा;

10. Then came up the third lot, for the sons of Zebulun, by their families, and the boundary of their inheritance was as far as Sarid.

11. और उनका सिवाना पश्चिम की ओर मरला को चढ़कर दब्बेशेत को पहुंचा; और योकनाम के साम्हने के नाले तक पहुंच गया;

11. And their boundary goeth up westward, even towards Maralah, and toucheth Dabbesheth, and reacheth unto the ravine that faceth Jokneam;

12. फिर सारीद से वह सूर्योदय की ओर मुड़कर किसलोत्ताबोर के सिवाने तक पंहुचा, और वहां से बढ़ते बढ़ते दाबरत में निकला, और यापी की ओर जा निकला;

12. and turneth back from Sarid, eastward, toward the rising of the sun, upon the boundary of Chisloth-tabor, and goeth out unto Daberath, and ascendeth Japhia;

13. वहां से वह पूर्व की ओर आगे बढ़कर गथेपेर और इत्कासीन को गया, और उस रिम्मोन में निकला जो नेआ तक फैला हुआ है;

13. and, from thence, it passed along in front on the east, towards Gath-hepher, towards Eth-kazin, and goeth out at Rimmon which turneth about towards Neah;

14. वहां से वह सिवाना उसके उत्तर की ओर से मुड़कर हन्नातोन पर पहुंचा, और यिप्तहेल की तराई में जा निकला;

14. and the boundary goeth round it, on the north to Hannathon, and so the extensions thereof are the valley of Iphtah-el;

15. कत्तात, नहलाल, शिभ्रोन, यिदला, और बेतलेहम; ये बारह नगर उनके गांवों समेत उसी भाग के ठहरे।

15. and Kattath and Nahalal, and Shimron, and Idalah and Beth-lehem, twelve cities, with their villages.

16. जबूलूनियों का भाग उनके कुलों के अनुसार यही ठहरा; और उस में अपने अपने गांवों समेत ये ही नगर हैं।।

16. This, is the inheritance of the sons of Zebulun, by their families, these cities, with their villages.

17. चौथी चिट्ठी इस्साकारियों के कुलों के अनुसार उनके नाम पर निकली।

17. For Issachar, came out the fourth lot, for the sons of Issachar, by their families.

18. और उनका सिवाना यिज्रेल, कसुल्लोत, शूनेम

18. And their boundary was, Jezreel and Chesulloth, and Shunem,

19. हपारैम, शीओन, अनाहरत,

19. and Hapharaim and Shion, and Anaharath,

20. रब्बीत, किश्योत, एबेस,

20. and Rabbith and Kishion, and Ebez,

21. रेमेत, एनगन्नीम, एनहस्रा, और बेत्पस्सेस तक पहुंचा।

21. and Remeth, and En-gannim, and Enhaddah, and Beth-pazzez;

22. फिर वह सिवाना ताबोर- शहसूमा और बेतशेमेश तक पहुंचा, और उनका सिवाना यरदन नदी पर जा निकला; इस प्रकार उनको सोलह नगर अपने अपने गांवों समेत मिले।

22. and the boundary toucheth Tabor and Shahazumah, and Beth-shemesh, and so the extensions of their boundary are to the Jordan, sixteen cities, with their villages.

23. कुलों के अनुसार इस्साकारियों के गोत्रा का भाग नगरों और गांवों समेत यही ठहरा।।

23. This, is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Issachar, by their families, the cities, with their villages.

24. पांचवीं चिट्ठी आशेरियों के गोत्रा के कुलों के अनुसार उनके नाम पर निकली।

24. Then came out the fifth lot, for the tribe of the sons of Asher, by their families.

25. उनके सिवाने में हेल्कत, हली, बेतेन, अक्षाप,

25. And their boundary was, Helkath and Hali, and Beten and Achshaph,

26. अलाम्मेल्लेक, अमाद, और मिशाल थे; और वह पश्चिम की ओर कार्म्मेल तक और शाहोर्लिब्नात तक पहुंचा;

26. and Allam-melech and Amad, and Mishal, and it toucheth Carmel to the west, and Shihor-libnath;

27. फिर वह सूर्योदय की ओर मुड़कर बेतदागोन को गया, और जबलून के भाग तक, और यिप्तहेल की तराई में उत्तर की ओर होकर बेतेमेक और नीएल तक पहुंचा और उत्तर की ओर जाकर काबूल पर निकला,

27. and it turneth toward sun-rise to Beth-dagon, and toucheth Zebulun and the valley of Iphtah-el northward, and Beth-emek, and Neiel; and goeth out unto Cabul, on the left,

28. और वह एब्रोन, रहोब, हम्मोन, और काना से होकर बड़े सीदोन को पहुंचा;

28. and Ebron and Rehob, and Hammon and Kanah, as far as Zidon the populous;

29. वहां से वह सिवाना मुड़कर रामा से होते हुए सोन नाम गढ़वाले नगर तक चला गया; फिर सिवाना होसा की ओर मुड़कर और अकजीब के पास के देश में होकर समुद्र पर निकला,

29. and the boundary turneth to Ramah, and as far as the city of the fortress of Tyre, then the boundary turneth to Hosah, and so the extensions thereof are, on the west, from Hebel to Achzib;

30.

30. Ummah also and Aphek, and Rehob, twenty-two cities, with their villages,

31. उम्मा, अपेक, और रहोब भी उनके भाग में ठहरे; इस प्रकार बाईस नगर अपने अपने गांवों समेत उनको मिले।

31. This, is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Asher, by their families, these cities, with their villages.

32. कुलों के अनुसार आशेरियों के गोत्रा का भाग नगरों और गांवों समेत यही ठहरा।।

32. For the sons of Naphtali, came out the sixth lot, for the sons of Naphtali, by their families.

33. छठवीं चिट्ठी नप्तालियों के कुलों के अनुसार उनके नाम पर निकली।

33. And their boundary was from Heleph, from the terebinth of Bezaannim, and Adami-nekeb, and Jabneel, as far as Lakkum; and so the extensions thereof were to the Jordan;

34. और उनका सिवाना हेलेप से, और सानन्नीम में के बांज वृक्ष से, अदामीनेकेब और यब्नेल से होकर, और लक्कूम को जाकर यरदन पर निकला;

34. and the boundary turneth westward, to Aznoth-tabor, and goeth out from thence, toward Hukkok, and toucheth Zebulun on the south, and, Asher, it toucheth on the west, and Judah, at the Jordan towards sunrise.

35. वहां से वह सिवाना पश्चिम की ओर मुड़कर अजनोत्ताबोर को गया, और वहां से हुक्कोक को गया, और दक्खिन, और जबूलून के भाग तक, और पश्चिम की ओर आशेर के भाग तक, और सूर्योदय की ओर यहूदा के भाग के पास की यरदन नदी पर पहुंचा।

35. And, the fortified cities, are, Ziddim, Zer, and Hammath, Rakkath and Chinnereth,

36. और उनके गढ़वाले नगर ये हैं, अर्थात् सिद्दीम, सेर, हम्मत, रक्कत, किन्नेरेत,

36. and Adamah and Ramah, and Hazor,

37. अदामा, रामा, हासोर,

37. and Kedesh and Edrei, and En-hazor,

38. केदेश, एद्रेई, एन्हासेर,

38. and Iron and Migdal-el, Horem and Beth-anath, and Beth-shemesh, nineteen cities, with their villages.

39. यिरोन, मिगदलेल, होरेम, बेतनात, और बेतशेमेश; ये उन्नीस नगर गांवों समेत उनको मिले।

39. This, is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Naphtali, by their families, the cities, with their villages.

40. कुलों के अुनसार नप्तालियों के गोत्रा का भाग नगरों और उनके गांवों समेत यही ठहरा।।

40. And, for the tribe of the sons of Dan, by their families, came out the seventh lot.

41. सातवीं चिट्ठी कुलों के अनुसार दानियों के गोत्रा के नाम पर निकली।

41. And the boundary of their inheritance was, Zorah and Eshtaol, and Ir-shemesh,

42. और उनके भाग के सिवाने में सोरा, एशताओल, ईरशमेश,

42. and Shaalabbin and Aijalon, and Ithlah,

43. शालब्बीन, अरयालोन, यितला,

43. and Elon and Timnah, and Ekron,

44. एलोन, तिम्ना, एक्रोन,

44. and Eltekeh and Gibbethon, and Baalath,

45. एलतके, गिब्बतोन, बालात,

45. and Jehud and Beneberak, and Gath-rimmon,

46. यहूद, बनेबराक, गत्रिम्मोन,

46. and Me-jarkon, and Rakkon, with the boundary over against Joppa.

47. मेयर्कोन, और रक्कोन ठहरे, और यापो के साम्हने का सिवाना भी उनका था।

47. And, when the boundary of the sons of Dan went out beyond these, then went up the sons of Dan and fought against Leshem, and captured it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and took possession thereof, and dwelt therein, and they called Leshem Dan, after the name of Dan their father,

48. और दानियों का भाग इस से अधिक हो गया, अर्थात् दानी लेशेम पर चढ़कर उस से लड़े, और उसे लेकर तलवार से मार डाला, और उसको अपने अधिकार में करके उस में बस गए, और अपने मूलपुरूष के नाम पर लेशेम का नाम दान रखा।

48. This, is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Dan, by their families, these cities, with their villages.

49. कुलों के अुनसार दानियों के गोत्रा का भाग नगरों और गांवों समेत यही ठहरा।।

49. When they had made an end of distributing the land by the boundaries thereof, then gave the sons of Israel an inheritance unto Joshua son of Nun, in their midst:

50. जब देश का बांटा जाना सिवानों के अनुसार निपट गया, तब इस्राएलियों ने नून के पुत्रा यहोशू को भी अपने बीच में एक भाग दिया।

50. at the bidding of Yahweh, gave they unto him the city which he asked, even Timnath-serah, in the hill country of Ephraim, and he built the city and dwelt therein.

51. यहोवा के कहने के अनुसार उन्हों ने उसको उसका मांगा हुआ नगर दिया, यह एप्रैम के पहाड़ी देश में का विम्नत्सेरह है; और वह उस नगर को बसाकर उस में रहने लगा।।

51. These, are the inheritances which Eleazar the priest and Joshua son of Nun and the ancestral heads distributed for inheritance to the tribes of the sons of Israel, by lot, in Shiloh, before Yahweh, at the entrance of the tent of meeting, so they made an end of apportioning the land.
