1. मसीह यीशु के दास पौलुस और तीमुथियुस की ओर से सब पवित्रा लोगों के नाम, जो मसीह यीशु में होकर फिलिप्पी मेेें रहते हैं, अध्यक्षों और सेवकों समेत।

1. Paul and Timotheus the seruauntes of Iesu Christ. Vnto all the sayntes in Iesu Christ, which are at Philippos, with the Bisshoppes and mynisters.

2. हमारे पिता परमेश्वर और प्रभु यीशु मसीह की ओर से तुम्हें अनुग्रह और शान्ति मिलती रहे।।

2. Grace be with you and peace from God oure father, and from the LORDE Iesus Christ.

3. मैं जब जब तुम्हें स्मरण करता हूं, तब तब अपने परमेश्वर का धन्यवाद करता हूं।

3. I thanke my God, as oft as I remebre you

4. और जब कभी तुम सब के लिये बिनती करता हूं, तो सदा आनन्द के साथ बिनती करता हूं।

4. (which I allwayes do in all my prayers for you all, and praye with gladnesse)

5. इसलिये, कि तुम पहिले दिन से लेकर आज तक सुसमाचार के फैलाने में मेरे सहभागी रहे हो।

5. because of youre fellishippe which ye haue in the Gospell from the first daye vnto now,

6. और मुझे इस बात का भरोसा है, कि जिस ने तुम में अच्छा काम आरम्भ किया है, वही उसे यीशु मसीह के दिन तक पूरा करेगा।

6. and am surely certified of this, yt he which hath begonne that good worke in you, shal go forth with it vntyll ye daye of Iesus Christ:

7. उचित है, कि मैं तुम सब के लिये ऐसा ही विचार करूं क्योंकि तुम मेरे मन में आ बसे हो, और मेरी कैद में और सुसमाचार के लिये उत्तर और प्रमाण देने में तुम सब मेरे साथ अनुग्रह में सहभागी हो।

7. as it becommeth me to iudge of you all, because I haue you in my hert, as those that are partakers with me of grace in my bondes, in defendinge and stablyshinge of the Gospell.

8. इस में परमेश्वर मेरा गवाह है, कि मैं मसीह यीशु की सी प्रीति करके तुम सब की लालसा करता हूं।

8. For God is my recorde, how I loge after you all euen fro the very hert rote in Iesus Christ.

9. और मैं यह प्रार्थना करता हूं, कि तुम्हारा प्रेम, ज्ञान और सब प्रकार के विवेक सहित और भी बढ़ता जाए।

9. And for the same I praye, yt yor loue maye increace more & more in all maner of knowlege and in all experience,

10. यहां तक कि तुम उत्तम से उत्तम बातों को प्रिय जानो, और मसीह के दिन तक सच्चे बने रहो; और ठोकर न खाओ।

10. yt ye maye proue what is best, that ye maye be pure, & soch as hurte no mans conscience, vnto the daye of Christ:

11. और उस धार्मिकता के फल से जो यीशु मसीह के द्वारा होते हैं, भरपूर होते जाओ जिस से परमेश्वर की महिमा और स्तुति होती रहे।।

11. fylled with the frutes of righteousnes, which come by Iesus Christ vnto the glorye and prayse of God.

12. हे भाइयों, मैं चाहता हूं, कि तुम यह जान लो, कि मुझ पर जो बीता है, उस से सुसमाचार ही की बढ़ती हुई है।

12. I wolde ye vnderstode brethren, that my busynes is happened vnto the greater furtheraunce of the Gospell,

13. यहां तक कि कैसरी राज्य की सारी पलटन और शेष सब लोगों में यह प्रगट हो गया है कि मैं मसीह के लिये कैद हूं।

13. so that my bondes in Christ are manifest thorow out all ye iudgmet hall, and in all other places:

14. और प्रभु में जो भाई हैं, उन में से बहुधा मेरे कैद होने के कारण, हियाव बान्ध कर, परमेश्वर का वचन निधड़क सुनाने का और भी हियाव करते हैं।

14. In so moch that many brethren in the LORDE, are boldened thorow my bodes, and darre more largely speake the worde without feare.

15. कितने तो डाह और झगड़े के कारण मसीह का प्रचार करते हैं और कितने भली मनसा से।

15. Some (no doute) preach Christ of enuye and stryfe, but some of good wil.

16. कई एक तो यह जान कर कि मैं सुसमाचार के लिये उत्तर देने को ठहराया गया हूं प्रेम से प्रचार करते हैं।

16. The one parte preacheth Christ off stryfe and not purely, supposynge to adde more aduersite vnto my bondes.

17. और कई एक तो सीधाई से नहीं पर विरोध से मसीह की कथा सुनाते हैं, यह समझ कर कि मेरी कैद में मेरे लिये क्लेश उत्पन्न करें।

17. The other parte of loue, for they knowe that I lye here for the defence of the Gospell.

18. सो क्या हुआ? केवल यह, कि हर प्रकार से चाहे बहाने से, चाहे सच्चाई से, मसीह की कथा सुनाई जाती है, और मैं इस से आनन्दित हूं, और आनन्दित रहूंगा भी।

18. What then? So that Christ be preached all maner of wayes (whether it be done by occasion or of true meaninge) I reioyce therin, and wil reioyce.

19. क्योंकि मैं जानता हूं, कि तुम्हारी बिनती के द्वारा, और यीशु मसीह की आत्मा के दान के द्वारा इस का प्रतिफल मेरा उद्धार होगा।
अय्यूब 13:16

19. For I knowe that the same shal chaunce to my saluacion, thorow youre prayer and mynistrynge of the sprete of Iesu Christ,

20. मैं तो यही हार्दिक लालसा और आशा रखता हूं, कि मैं किसी बात में लज्जित न होऊं, पर जैसे मेरे प्रबल साहस के कारण मसीह की बड़ाई मेरी देह के द्वारा सदा होती रही है, वैसा ही अब भी हो चाहे मैं जीवित रहूं वा मर जाऊं।

20. as I loke for and hope, that in nothinge I shalbe ashamed: but yt with all cofidence (as allwayes in tymes past, eue so now) Christ shalbe magnified in my body whether it be thorow life or thorow death.

21. क्योंकि मेरे लिये जीवित रहना मसीह है, और मर जाना लाभ है।

21. For Christ is to me life, & death is to me auautage.

22. पर यदि शरीर में जीवित रहना ही मेरे काम के लिये लाभदायक है तो मैं नहीं जानता, कि किस को चुनूं।

22. But in as moch as to lyue in ye flesh is frutefull to me for the worke, I wote not what

23. क्योंकि मैं दोनों के बीच अधर में लटका हूं; जी तो चाहता है कि कूच करके मसीह के पास जा रहूं, क्योंकि यह बहुत ही अच्छा है।

23. I shal chose, for both these thinges lye harde vpon me. I desyre to be lowsed, & to be with Christ, which thinge were moch better (for me)

24. परन्तु शरीर में रहना तुम्हारे कारण और भी आवश्यक है।

24. but to abyde in the flesh is more nedefull for you.

25. और इसलिये कि मुझे इस का भरोसा है सो मैं जानता हूं कि मैं जीवित रहूंगा, बरन तुम सब के साथ रहूंगा जिस से तुम विश्वास में दृढ़ होते जाओ और उस में आनन्दित रहो।

25. And this am I sure of, that I shal abyde, and contynue with you all, for the furtheraunce and ioye of youre faith,

26. और जो घमण्ड तुम मेरे विषय में करते हो, वह मेरे फिर तुम्हारे पास आने से मसीह यीशु में अधिक बढ़ जाए।

26. that ye maye abundauntly reioyse in Christ Iesu thorow me, by my comynge to you agayne.

27. केवल इतना करो कि तुम्हारा चाल- चलन मसीह के सुसमाचार के योग्य हो कि चाहे मैं आकर तुम्हें देखूं, चाहे न भी आऊं, तुम्हारे विषय में यह सुनूं, कि तुम एक ही आत्मा में स्थिर हो, और एक चित्त होकर सुसमाचार के विश्वास के लिये परिश्रम करते रहते हो।

27. Onely let youre conuersacion be as it becommeth the Gospell of Christ, that whether I come & se you, or els be absent, I maye yet heare of you that ye cotynue in one sprete and one soule, labourynge (as we do) to mayntayne the faith of the Gospell,

28. और किसी बात में विरोधियों से भय नहीं खाते? यह उन के लिये विनाश का स्पष्ट चिन्ह है, परन्तु तुम्हारे लिये उद्धार का, और यह परमेश्वर की ओर से है।

28. and in nothinge fearinge youre aduersaries, which is to them a token off perdicion, but vnto you of saluacion, and that of God.

29. क्योंकि मसीह के कारण तुम पर यह अनुग्रह हुआ कि न केवल उस पर विश्वास करो पर उसके लिये दुख भी उठाओ।

29. For vnto you it is geuen, not onely that ye shulde beleue on Christ, but also suffre for his sake,

30. और तुम्हें वैसा ही परिश्रम करना है, जैसा तुम ने मुझे करते देखा है, और अब भी सुनते हो, कि मैं वैसा ही करता हूं।।

30. and to haue euen the same fighte, which ye haue sene in me, and now heare of me.
