1. मनुष्य हमें मसीह के सेवक और परमेश्वर के भेदों के भण्डारी समझे।

1. Let a man so esteeme of vs, as the ministers of Christe, and disposers of the secretes of God.

2. फिर यहां भण्डारी में यह बात देखी जाती है, कि विश्वास योग्य निकले।

2. Furthermore, it is required of the disposers that a man be founde faythfull.

3. परन्तु मेरी दृष्टि में यह बहुत छोटी बात है, कि तुम या मनुष्यों का कोई न्यायी मुझे परखे, बरन मैं आप ही अपने आप को नहीं परखता।

3. With me it is but a very small thyng that I shoulde be iudged of you, either of mans iudgement: No, I iudge not mine owne selfe.

4. क्योंकि मेरा मन मुझे किसी बात में दोषी नहीं ठहराता, परन्तु इस से मैं निर्दोष नहीं ठहरता, क्योंकि मेरा परखने वाला प्रभु है।
भजन संहिता 143:2

4. For I knowe nothing by my selfe, yet am I not thereby iustified: but he that iudgeth me is the Lorde.

5. सो जब तक प्रभु न आए, समय से पहिले किसी बात का न्याय न करो: वही तो अन्धकार की छिपी बातें ज्योति में दिखाएगा, और मनों की मतियों को प्रगट करेगा, तब परमेश्वर की ओर से हर एक की प्रशंसा होगी।।

5. Therefore iudge nothyng before the tyme, vntyll the Lorde come, who wyl lyghten thynges that are hyd in darkenesse, & open the counsels of the heartes, and then shall euery man haue prayse of God.

6. हे भाइयों, मैं ने इन बातों में तुम्हारे लिये अपनी और अपुल्लोस की चर्चा, दृष्टान्त की रीति पर की है, इसलिये कि तुम हमारे द्वारा यह सीखो, कि लिखे हुए से आगे न बढ़ना, और एक के पक्ष में और दूसरे के विरोध में गर्व न करना।

6. And these thynges brethren, I haue figuratiuely applied vnto my selfe, and to Apollos, for your sakes, that ye might learne by vs, that no man conceaue in mynde aboue that whiche is written, that one swell not agaynst another for any mans cause.

7. क्योंकि तुझ में और दूसरे में कौन भेद करता है? और तेरे पास क्या है जो तू ने (दूसरे से) नहीं पाया: और जब कि तु ने (दूसरे से) पाया है, तो ऐसा घमण्ड क्यों करता है, कि मानों नही पाया?

7. For who seperateth thee? And what hast thou, that thou hast not receaued? If thou haue receaued it, why reioycest thou, as though thou haddest not receaued it?

8. तुम तो तृप्त हो चुके; तुम धनी हो चुके, तुम ने हमारे बिना राज्य किया; परन्तु भला होता कि तुम राज्य करते कि हम भी तुम्हारे साथ राज्य करते।

8. Nowe ye are full, nowe ye are made ryche, ye raigne as kynges without vs, and I woulde to God ye dyd raigne, that we also myght raigne with you.

9. मेरी समझ में परमेश्वर ने हम प्ररितों को सब के बाद उन लोगों की नाई ठहराया है, जिन की मृत्यु की आज्ञा हो चुकी हो; क्योंकि हम जगत और स्वर्गदूतों और मनुष्यों के लिये तमाशा ठहरे हैं।

9. For me thynketh, that God hath set foorth vs, whiche are the last apostles, as it were men appoynted to death. For we are made a gasyng stocke vnto the worlde, and to the angels, and to men.

10. हम मसीह के लिये मूर्ख है; परन्तु तुम मसीह में बुद्धिमान हो: हम निर्बल हैं परन्तु तुम बलवान हो: तुम आदर पाते हो, परन्तु हम निरादर होते हैं।

10. We [are] fooles for Christes sake, but ye [are] wyse in Christe. We [are] weake, but ye [are] stronge. Ye [are] honorable, but we [are] despised.

11. हम इस घड़ी तक भूखे- प्यासे और नंगे हैं, और घूसे खाते हैं और मारे मारे फिरते हैं; और अपने ही हाथों के काम करके परिश्रम करते हैं।

11. Euen vnto this time we both hunger and thirste, and are naked, and are buffeted, and haue no certaine dwellyng place.

12. लोग बुरा कहते हैं, हम आशीष देते हैं; वे सताते हैं, हम सहते हैं।
भजन संहिता 109:28

12. And labour, working with our owne handes. We are reuyled, and we blesse. We are persecuted, and suffer it.

13. वे बदना करते हैं, हम बिनती करते हैं: हम आज तक जगत के कूड़े और सब वस्तुओं की खुरचन की नाई ठहरे हैं।।

13. We are euyll spoken of, and we praye: we are made as the fylthynesse of the worlde, the ofscowryng of all thynges vnto this day.

14. मैं तुम्हें लज्जित करते के लिये ये बातें नहीं लिखता, परन्तु अपने प्रिय बालक जानकर उन्हें चितात हूं।

14. I write not these thynges to shame you, but as my beloued sonnes I warne you.

15. क्योंकि यदि मसीह में तुम्हारे सिखानेवाले दस हजार भी होते, तौभी तुम्हारे पिता बहुत से नहीं, इसलिये कि मसीह यीशु में सुसमाचार के द्वारा मैं तुम्हारा पिता हुआ।

15. For though ye haue ten thousande instructours in Christ, yet [haue ye] not many fathers: For in Christe Iesu I haue begotten you through the Gospell.

16. सो मैं तुम से बिनती करता हूं, कि मेरी सी चाल चलो।

16. Wherfore, I desire you, be ye folowers of me.

17. इसलिये मैं ने तीमुथियुस को जो प्रभु में मेरा प्रिय और विश्वासयोग्य पुत्रा है, तुम्हारे पास भेजा है, और वह तुम्हें मसीह में मेरा चरित्रा स्मरण कराएगा, जैसे कि मैं हर जगह हर एक कलीसिया में उपदेश करता हूं।

17. For this cause haue I sent vnto you Timotheus, whiche is my beloued sonne, & faythfull in the Lorde, which shall put you in remembraunce of my wayes which be in Christe, as I teache euery where in all Churches.

18. कितने तो उसे फूल गए हैं, मानों मैं तुम्हारे पास आने ही का नहीं।

18. Some swel as though I would come no more at you:

19. ुपरन्तु प्रभु चाहे तो मैं तुम्हारे पास शीघ्र ही आऊंगा, और उन फूले हुओं की बातों को नहीं, परन्तु उन की सामर्थ को जान लूंगा।

19. But I wyll come to you shortly, if the Lorde wyll, & wyll knowe, not the wordes of the which swell, but the power.

20. क्योंकि परमशॆवर का राज्य बातों में नहीं, परन्तु सामर्थ में है।

20. For the kyngdome of God is not in worde, but in power.

21. तुम क्या चाहते हो? क्या मैं छड़ी लेकर तुम्हारे पास आऊं या प्रेम और नम्रता की आत्मा के साथ?

21. What wyl ye? Shal I come vnto you with a rodde, or in loue and in the spirite of mekenesse?
