1. सुनो, यहोवा का एक ऐसा दिन आनेवाल है जिस में तेरा धन लूटकर तेरे बीच में बांट लिया जाएगा।

1. Note well: GOD's Judgment Day is on the way: 'Plunder will be piled high and handed out.

2. क्योंकि मैं सब जातियों को यरूशलेम से लड़ने के लिये इकट्ठा करूंगा, और वह नगर ले लिया नगर। और घर लूटे जाएंगे और स्त्रियां भ्रष्ट की जाएंगी; नगर के आधे लोग बंधुवाई में जाएंगे, परन्तु प्रजा के शेष लोग नगर ही में रहने पाएंगे।

2. I'm bringing all the godless nations to war against Jerusalem-- Houses plundered, women raped, Half the city taken into exile, the other half left behind.'

3. तब यहोवा निकलकर उन जातियों से ऐसा लड़ेगा जैसा वह संग्राम के दिन में लड़ा था।

3. But then GOD will march out against the godless nations and fight--a great war!

4. और उस समय वह जलपाई के पर्वत पर पांव धरेगा, जो पूरब ओर यरूशलेम के साम्हने है; तब जलपाई का पर्वत पूरब से लेकर पच्छिम तक बीचोबीच से फटकर बहुत बड़ा खड्ड हो जाएगा; तब आधा पर्वत उत्तर की ओर और आधा दक्खिन की ओर हट जाएगा।

4. That's the Day he'll take his stand on the Mount of Olives, facing Jerusalem from the east. The Mount of Olives will be split right down the middle, from east to west, leaving a wide valley. Half the mountain will shift north, the other half south.

5. Then you will run for your lives down the valley, your escape route that will take you all the way to Azal. You'll run for your lives, just as you ran on the day of the great earthquake in the days of Uzziah, king of Judah. Then my GOD will arrive and all the holy angels with him.

6. उस समय कुछ उजियाला न रहेगा, क्योंकि ज्योतिगण सिमट जाएंगे।

6. What a Day that will be! No more cold nights--in fact, no more nights!

7. The Day is coming--the timing is GOD's--when it will be continuous day. Every evening will be a fresh morning.

8. What a Day that will be! Fresh flowing rivers out of Jerusalem, half to the eastern sea, half to the western sea, flowing year-round, summer and winter!

9. GOD will be king over all the earth, one GOD and only one. What a Day that will be!

10. गेबा से लेकर यरूशलेम की दक्खिन ओर के रिम्मोन तक सब भूमि अराबा के समान हो जाएगी। परन्तु वह ऊंची होकर बिन्यामीन के फाटक से लेकर पहिले फाटक के स्थान तक, और कोनेवाले फाटक तक, और हननेल के गुम्मट से लेकर राजा के दाखरसकुण्ड़ों तक अपने स्थान में बसेगी।

10. The land will stretch out spaciously around Jerusalem--to Geba in the north and Rimmon in the south, with Jerusalem towering at the center, and the commanding city gates--Gate of Benjamin to First Gate to Corner Gate to Hananel Tower to the Royal Winery--ringing the city

11. और लोग उस में बसेंगे क्योंकि फिर सत्यानाश का शाप न होगा; और यरूशलेम बेखटके बसी रहेगी।

11. full of people. Never again will Jerusalem be totally destroyed. From now on it will be a safe city.

12. और जितनी जातियों ने यरूशलेम से युद्ध किया है उन सभों को यहोवा ऐसी मार से मारेगा, कि खड़े खड़े उनका मांस सड़ जाएगा, और उनकी आंखें अपने गोलकों में सड़ जाएंगीं, और उनकी जीभ उनके मुंह में सड़ जाएगी।

12. But this is what will happen to all who fought against Jerusalem: GOD will visit them with a terrible plague. People's flesh will rot off their bones while they are walking around; their eyes will rot in their sockets and their tongues in their mouths; people will be dying on their feet!

13. और उस समय यहोवा की ओर से उन में बड़ी घबराहट पैठेगी, और वे एक दूसरे पर अपने अपने हाथ उठाएंगे।

13. Mass hysteria when that happens--total panic! Fellow soldiers fighting and killing each other--holy terror!

14. यहूदा भी यरूशलेम में लड़ेगा, और सोना, चान्दी, वस्त्रा आदि चारों ओर की सब जातियों की धन सम्पत्ति उस में बटोरी जाएगी।

14. And then Judah will jump into the fray! Treasures from all the nations will be piled high--gold, silver, the latest fashions.

15. और घोड़े, खच्चर, ऊंट और गदहे वरन जितने पशु उनकी छावनियों में होंगे वे भी ऐसी ही बीमारी से मारे जाएंगे।।

15. The plague will also hit the animals--horses, mules, camels, donkeys. Everything alive in the military camps will be hit by the plague.

16. तब जिने लोग यरूशलेम पर चढ़नेवाली सब जातियों में से बचे रहेंगे, वे प्रति वर्ष राजा को अर्थात् सेनाओं के यहोवा को दण्डवत् करने, और झोपड़ियों का पर्व मानने के लिये यरूशलेम को जाया करेंगे।

16. All the survivors from the godless nations that fought against Jerusalem will travel to Jerusalem every year to worship the King, GOD-of-the-Angel-Armies, and celebrate the Feast of Booths.

17. और पृथ्वी के कुलों में से जो लोग यरूशलेम में राजा, अर्थात् सेनाओं के यहोवा को दण्डवत करने के लिये न जाएंगे, उनके यहां वर्षा न होगी।

17. If any of these survivors fail to make the annual pilgrimage to Jerusalem to worship the King, GOD-of-the-Angel-Armies, there will be no rain.

18. और यदि मि का कुल वहां न आए, तो क्या उन पर वह मरी न पड़ेगी जिस से यहोवा उन जातियों को मारेगा जो झोपड़ियों का पर्व मानने के लिये न जाएंगे?

18. If the Egyptians don't make the pilgrimage and worship, there will be no rain for them. Every nation that does not go up to celebrate the Feast of Booths will be hit with the plague.

19. यह मि का और उन सब जातियों का पाप ठहरेगा, जो झोपड़ियों का पर्व मानने के लिये न जाएंगे।

19. Egypt and any other nation that does not make pilgrimage to celebrate the Feast of Booths gets punished.

20. उस समय घोड़ों की घंटियों पर भी यह लिखा रहेगा, यहोवा के लिये पवित्रा। और यहोवा के भवन कि हंड़ियां उन कटोरों के तुल्य पवित्रा ठहरेंगी, जो वेदी के साम्हने रहते हैं।

20. On that Day, the Big Day, all the horses' harness bells will be inscribed 'Holy to GOD.' The cooking pots in the Temple of GOD will be as sacred as chalices and plates on the altar.

21. वरन यरूशलेम में और यहूदा देश में सब हंड़ियां सेनाओं के यहोवा के लिये पवित्रा ठहरेंगी, और सब मेलबलि करनेवाले आ आकर उन हंडियों में मांस सिझाया करेंगे। और सब सेनाओं के यहोवा के भवन में फिर कोई व्योपारी न पाया जाएगा।।

21. In fact, all the pots and pans in all the kitchens of Jerusalem and Judah will be holy to GOD-of-the-Angel-Armies. People who come to worship, preparing meals and sacrifices, will use them. On that Big Day there will be no buying or selling in the Temple of GOD-of-the-Angel-Armies.
