1. यहोवा ने मिलापवाले तम्बू में से मूसा को बुलाकर उस से कहा,

1. And the Lord called Moses again and spoke to him out of the tabernacle of witness, saying, Speak to the children of Israel, and you shall say to them,

2. इस्त्राएलियों से कह, कि तुम में से यदि कोई मनुष्य यहोवा के लिये पशु का चढ़ावा चढ़ाए, तो उसका बलिपशु गाय- बैलों वा भेड़- बकरियों में से एक का हो।

2. If [any] man of you shall bring gifts to the Lord, you shall bring your gifts of the cattle and of the oxen and of the sheep.

3. यदि वह गाय बैलों में से होमबलि करे, तो निर्दोष नर मिलापवाले तम्बू के द्वार पर चढ़ाए, कि यहोवा उसे ग्रहण करे।

3. If his gift be a whole burnt offering, he shall bring an unblemished male of the herd to the door of the tabernacle of witness, he shall bring it as acceptable before the Lord.

4. और वह अपना हाथ होमबलिपशु के सिर पर रखे, और वह उनके लिये प्रायश्चित्त करने को ग्रहण किया जाएगा।

4. And he shall lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering as a thing acceptable for him, to make atonement for him.

5. तब वह उस बछड़े को यहोवा के साम्हने बलि करे; और हारून के पुत्रा जो याजक हैं वे लोहू को समीप ले जाकर उस वेदी की चारों अलंगों पर छिड़के जो मिलापवाले तम्बू के द्वार पर है।

5. And they shall slay the calf before the Lord; and the sons of Aaron the priests shall bring the blood, and they shall pour the blood round about on the altar, which [is] at the doors of the tabernacle of witness.

6. फिर वह होमबलिपशु की खाल निकालकर उस पशु को टुकडे टुकडे करे;

6. And having skinned the whole burnt offering, they shall divide it by its limbs.

7. तब हारून याजक के पुत्रा वेदी पर आग रखें, और आग पर लकड़ी सजाकर धरें;

7. And the sons of Aaron the priests shall put fire on the altar, and shall pile wood on the fire.

8. और हारून के पुत्रा जो याजक हैं वे सिर और चरबी समेत पशु के टुकड़ों को उस लकड़ी पर जो वेदी की आग पर होगी सजाकर धरें;

8. And the sons of Aaron the priests shall pile up the divided parts, and the head, and the fat on the wood on the fire, [the wood] which is on the altar.

9. और वह उसकी अंतड़ियों और पैरों को जल से धोए। तब याजक सब को वेदी पर जलाए, कि वह होमबलि यहोवा के लिये सुखदायक सुगन्धवाला हवन ठहरे।।

9. And the entrails and the feet they shall wash in water, and the priests shall put all on the altar; it is a burnt offering, a sacrifice, an aroma of sweet savor to the Lord.

10. और यदि वह भेड़ों वा बकरों का होमबलि चढ़ाए, तो निर्दोष नर को चढ़ाए।

10. And if his gift [be] of the sheep to the Lord, or of the lambs, or of the kids for a whole burnt offering, he shall bring a male without blemish.

11. और वह उसको यहोवा के आगे वेदी की उत्तरवाली अलंग पर बलि करे; और हारून के पुत्रा जो याजक हैं वे उसके लोहू को वेदी की चारों अलंगों पर छिड़कें।

11. And he shall lay his hand on its head; and they shall kill it by the side of the altar, toward the north before the Lord, and the sons of Aaron the priests shall pour its blood on the altar round about.

12. और वह उसको टुकडे टुकडे करे, और सिर और चरबी को अलग करे, और याजक इन सब को उस लकड़ी पर सजाकर धरे जो वेदी की आग पर होगी;

12. And they shall divide it by its limbs, and its head and its fat, and the priests shall pile them up on the wood which is on the fire, on the altar.

13. और वह उसकी अंतड़ियों और पैरों को जल से धोए। और याजक सब को समीप ले जाकर वेदी पर जलाए, कि वह होमबलि और यहोवा के लिये सुगन्धदायक सुगन्धवाला हवन ठहरे।।

13. And they shall wash the entrails and the feet with water, and the priest shall bring all the [parts] and put them on the altar: it is a burnt offering, a sacrifice, an aroma of sweet savor to the Lord.

14. और यदि वह यहोवा के लिये पक्षियों का होमबलि चढ़ाए, तो पंडुको वा कबूतरों को चढ़ावा चढ़ाए।

14. And if he bring his gift, a burnt offering to the Lord, of birds, then shall he bring his gift of doves or pigeons.

15. याजक उसको वेदी के समीप ले जाकर उसका गला मरोड़ के सिर को धड़ से अलग करे, और वेदी पर जलाए; और उसका सारा लोहू उस वेदी की अलंग पर गिराया जाए;

15. And the priest shall bring it to the altar, and shall wring off its head; and the priest shall put it on the altar, and shall wring out the blood at the bottom of the altar.

16. और वह उसका ओझर मल सहित निकालकर वेदी की पूरब की ओर से राख डालने के स्थान पर फेंक दे;

16. And he shall take away the crop with the feathers, and shall cast it forth by the altar toward the east, to the place of the ashes.

17. और वह उसको पंखों के बीच से फाड़े, पर अलग अलग न करे। तब याजक उसको वेदी पर उस लकड़ी के ऊपर रखकर जो आग पर होगी जलाए, कि वह होमबलि और यहोवा के लिये सुखदायक सुगन्धवाला हवन ठहरे।।

17. And he shall break it off from the wings and shall not separate it, and the priest shall put it on the altar on the wood which is on the fire: it is a burnt offering, a sacrifice, a sweet-smelling savor to the Lord.
