1. जब सिदकिरयाह राज्य करने लगा, तब वह इक्कीस वर्ष का था; और यरूशलेम में ग्यारह वर्ष तक राज्य करता रहा। उसकी माता का नाम हमूतल था जो लिब्नावासी यिर्मयाह की बेटी थी।

1. Zedekiah was one and twentie yeere olde when he began to reigne, and he reigned eleuen yeeres in Ierusalem, and his mothers name was Hamutal, the daughter of Ieremiah of Libnah.

2. और उस ने यहोयाकीम के सब कामों के अनुसार वही किया जो यहोवा की दृष्टि में बुरा है।

2. And he did euil in the eyes of the Lord, according to all that Iehoiakim had done.

3. निश्चय यहोवा के कोप के कारण यरूशलेम और यहूदा की ऐसी दशा हुई कि अन्त में उस ने उनको अपने साम्हने से दूर कर दिया। और सिदकिरयाह ने बाबुल के राजा से बलवा किया।

3. Doubtlesse because the wrath of the Lord was against Ierusalem and Iudah, till he had cast them out from his presence, therefore Zedekiah rebelled against the King of Babel.

4. और उसके राजय के नौवें वर्ष के दसवें महीने के दसवें दिन को बाबुल के राजा नबूकदनेस्सर ने अपनी सारी सेना लेकर यरूशलेम पर चढ़ाई की, और उस ने उसके पास छावनी करके उसके चारों ओर क़िला बनाया।

4. But in the ninth yeere of his reigne, in the tenth moneth the tenth day of the moneth came Nebuchad-nezzar King of Babel, he and all his hoste against Ierusalem, and pitched against it, and buylt fortes against it round about.

5. यों नगर घेरा गया, और सिदकिरयाह राजा के ग्यारहवें वर्ष तक घिरा रहा।

5. So the citie was besieged vnto the eleuenth yeere of the King Zedekiah.

6. चौथे महीने के नौवें दिन से नगर में महंगी यहां तक बढ़ गई, कि लोगों के लिये कुछ रोटी न रही।

6. Now in the fourth moneth, the ninth day of the moneth, the famine was sore in ye citie, so that there was no more bread for ye people of the land.

7. तब नगर की शहरपनाह में दरार की गई, और दोनों भीतों के बीच जो फाटक राजा की बारी के निकट था, उस से सब योद्वा भागकर रात ही रात नगर से निकल गए, और अराबा का मार्ग लिया। (उस समय कसदी लोग नगर को घेरे हुए थे)।

7. Then the citie was broken vp and all the men of warre fled, and went out of the citie by night, by the way of the gate betweene the two walles, which was by the kings garden: (now the Caldeans were by the citie round about) and they went by the way of the wildernes.

8. परन्तु उनकी सेना ने राजा का पीछा किया, और उसको यरीहो के पास के अराबा में जा पकड़ा; तब उसकी सारी सेना उसके पास से तितर- बितर हो गई।

8. But the army of the Caldeans pursued after the king, and tooke Zedekiah in the desert of Iericho, and all his host was scattered from him.

9. सो वे राजा को पकड़कर हमात देश के रिबला में बाबुल के राजा के पास ले गए, और वहां उस ने उसके दण्ड की आज्ञा दी।

9. Then they tooke the king and caryed him vp vnto the king of Babel to Riblah in the lande of Hamath, where he gaue iudgement vpon him.

10. बाबुल के राजा ने सिदकिरयाह के पुत्रों को उसके साम्हने घात किया, और यहूदा के सारे हाकिमों को भी रिबला में घात किया।

10. And the king of Babel slewe the sonnes of Zedekiah, before his eyes he slew also al ye princes of Iudah in Riblah.

11. फिर बाबुल के राजा ने सिदकिरयाह की आंखों को फुड़वा डाला, और उसको बेड़ियों से जकड़कर बाबुल तक ले गया, और उसको बन्दीगृह में डाल दिया। सो वह मृत्यु के दिन तक वहीं रहा।

11. Then he put out the eyes of Zedekiah, and the king of Babel bound him in chaines, and caried him to Babel, and put him in pryson till the day of his death.

12. फिर उसी वर्ष अर्थात् बाबुल के राजा नबूकदनेस्सर के राज्य के उन्नीसवें वर्ष के पांचवें महीने के दसवें दिन को जल्लादों का प्रधान नबूजरदान जो बाबुल के राजा के सम्मुख खड़ा रहता था यरूशलेम में आया।

12. Now in the fift moneth in the tenth day of the moneth (which was the nineteenth yere of ye King Nebuchad-nezzar King of Babel) came Nebuzar-adan chiefe steward which stoode before the king of Babel in Ierusalem,

13. और उस ने यहोवा के भवन और राजभवन और यरूशलेम के सब बड़े बड़े घरों को आग लगवाकर फुंकवा दिया।

13. And burnt the House of the Lord, and the Kings house, and all the houses of Ierusalem, and all the great houses burnt he with fire.

14. और कसदियों की सारी सेना ने जो जल्लादों के प्रधान के संग थी, यरूशलेम के चारों ओर की सब शहरपनाह को ढा दिश।

14. And al the armie of the Caldeans that were with the chiefe steward, brake downe all ye walles of Ierusalem round about.

15. और जल्लादों का प्रधान नबूजरदान कंगाल लोगों में से कितनों को, और जो लोग नगर में रह गए थे, और जो लोग बाबुल के राजा के पास भाग गए थे, और जो कारीगर रह गए थे, उन सब को बंधुआ करके ले गया।

15. Then Nebuzar-adan the chiefe steward caried away captiue certaine of the poore of the people, and the residue of the people that remayned in the citie, and those that were fled, and fallen to the king of Babel, with the rest of the multitude.

16. परन्तु, दिहात के कंगाल लोगों में से कितनों को जल्लादों के प्रधान नबूजरदान ने दाख की बारियों की सेवा और किसानी करने को छोड़ दिया।

16. But Nebuzar-adan the chiefe steward left certaine of the poore of the lande, to dresse the vines, and to till the land.

17. और यहोवा के भवन में जो पीतल के खम्भे थे, और कुर्सियों और पीतल के हौज जो यहोवा के भवन में थे, उन सभों को कसदी लोग लोड़कर उनका पीतल बाबुल को ले गए।

17. Also the pillars of brasse that were in the House of the Lord, and the bases, and the brasen Sea, that was in the house of ye Lord, the Caldeans brake, and caried all the brasse of them to Babel.

18. और हांड़ियों, फावड़ियों, कैंचियों, कटोरों, घूपदानों, निदान पीतल के और सब पात्रों को, जिन से लोग सेवा टहल करते थे, वे ले गए।

18. The pots also and the besomes, and the instruments of musicke, and the basins, and the incense dishes, and all the vessels of brasse wherewith they ministred, tooke they away.

19. और तसलों, करछों, कटोरियों, हांड़ियों, दीवटों, धूपदानों, और कटोरों में से जो कुछ सोने का था, उनके सोने को, और जो कुछ चान्दी का था उनकी चान्दी को भी जल्लादों का प्रधान ले गया।

19. And the bowles, and the ashpannes, and the basins, and the pots, and the candlestickes, and the incense dishes, and the cuppes, and all that was of golde, and that was of siluer, tooke the chiefe steward away,

20. दोनों खम्भे, एक हौज और पीतल के बारहों बैल जो पायों के नीचे थे, इन सब को तो सुलैमान राजा ने यहोवा के भवन के लिये बनवाया था, और इन सब का पीतल तौल से बाहर था।

20. With the two pillars, one Sea, and twelue brasen bulles, that were vnder the bases, which King Salomon had made in ye house of ye Lord: the brasse of all these vessels was without weight.

21. जो खम्भे थे, उन में से एक एक की ऊंचाई अठारह हाथ, और घेरा बारह हाथ, और मोटाई चार अंगुल की थी, और वे खोखले थे।

21. And concerning the pillars, the height of one pillar was eighteene cubites, and a threede of twelue cubites did compasse it, and the thicknesse thereof was foure fingers: it was holowe.

22. एक एक की कंगनी पीतल की थी, और एक एक कंगनी की ऊंचाई पांच हाथ की थी; और उस पर चारों ओर जो जाली और अनार बने थे वे सब पीतल के थे।

22. And a chapiter of brasse was vpon it, and the height of one chapiter was fiue cubites with networke, and pomegranates vpon the chapiters round about, all of brasse: the seconde pillar also, and the pomegranates were like vnto these.

23. कंगनियों के चारों अलंगों पर छियानवे अनार बने थे, और जाली के ऊपर चारों ओर एक सौ अनार थे।

23. And there were ninetie and sixe pomegranates on a side: and all the pomegranates vpon the net worke were an hundreth round about.

24. और जल्लादों के प्रधान ने सरायाह महायाजक और उसके नीचे के सपन्याह याजक, और तीनों डेवढ़ीदारों को पकड़ लिया;

24. And the chiefe steward tooke Sheraiah the chiefe Priest, and Zephaniah the seconde Priest, and the three keepers of the doore.

25. और नगर में से उस ने एक खोजा पकड़ लिया, जो योद्वाओं के ऊपर ठहरा था; और जो पुरूष राजा के सम्मुख रहा करते थे, उन में से सात जन जो नगर में मिले; और सेनापति का मुन्शी जो साधारण लोगों को सेना में भरती करता था; और साधारण लोगों में से साठ पुरूष जो नगर में मिले,

25. Hee tooke also out of the citie an Eunuch, which had the ouersight of the men of warre, and seuen men that were in the Kings presence, which were founde in the citie, and Sopher captayne of the hoste who mustered the people of the lande, and threescore men of the people of the land, that were found in the middes of the citie.

26. इन सब को जल्लादों का प्रधान नबूजरदान रिबला में बाबुल के राजा के पास ले गया।

26. Nebuzar-adan the chiefe stewarde tooke them, and brought them to the king of Babel to Riblah.

27. तब बाबुल के राजा ने उन्हें हमात देश के रिबला में ऐसा मारा कि वे मर गए।

27. And the king of Babel smote them, and slewe them in Riblah, in the lande of Hamath: thus Iudah was caried away captiue out of his owne land.

28. यो यहूदी अपने देश से बंधुए होकर चले गए। जिन लोगों को नबूकदनेस्सर बंधुआ करके ले गया, सो ये हैं, अर्थत् उसके राज्य के सातवें वर्ष में तीन हजार तेईस यहूदी;

28. This is the people, whome Nebuchad-nezzar caried away captiue, in the seuenth yeere, euen three thousande Iewes, and three and twentie.

29. फिर अपने राज्य के अठारहवें वर्ष में नबूकदनेस्सर यरूशलेम से आठ सौ बत्तीस प्राणिीयों को बंधुआ करके ले गया;

29. In the eightenth yere of Nebuchad-nezzar he caried away captiue from Ierusalem eight hundreth thirtie and two persons.

30. फिर नबूकदनेस्सर के राज्य के तेईसवें वर्ष में जल्लादों का प्रधान नबूजरदान सात सौ पैंतालीस यहूदी जनों को बंधुए करके ले गया; सब प्राणी मिलकर चार हाजार छेसौ हुए।

30. In the three and twentieth yeere of Nebuchad-nezzar, Nebuzar-adan the chiefe stewarde caried away captiue of the Iewes seuen hundreth fourtie and fiue persons: all the persons were foure thousand and sixe hundreth.

31. फिर यहूदा के राजा यहोयाकीन की बंधुआई के सैंतीसवें वर्ष में अर्थात् जिस वर्ष बाबुल का राजा एबीलमरोदक राजगद्दी पर विराजमान हुआ, उसी के बारहवें महीने के पचीसवें दिन को उस ने यहूदा के राजा यहोयाकीन को बन्दीगृह से निकालकर बड़ा पद दिया;

31. And in the seuen and thirtieth yeere of the captiuitie of Iehoiachin King of Iudah, in the twelfth moneth, in the fiue and twentieth day of the moneth, Euil-merodach King of Babel, in the first yeere of his reigne, lifted vp the head of Iehoiachin King of Iudah, and brought him out of pryson,

32. और उस से मधुर मधुर वचन कहकर, जो राजा उसके साथ बाबुल में बंधुए थे, उनके सिंहासनों से उसके सिंहासन को अधीक ऊंचा किया।

32. And spake kindly vnto him, and set his throne aboue the throne of the Kings, that were with him in Babel,

33. और उसके बन्दीगृह के वस्त्रा बदल दिए; और वह जीवन भर नित्य राजा के सम्मुख भोजन करता रहा;

33. And changed his pryson garmentes, and he did continually eate bread before him all the dayes of his life.

34. और प्रति दिन के खर्च के लिये बाबुल के राजा के यहां से उसको नित्य कुछ मिलने का प्रबन्ध हुआ। यह प्रबन्ध उसकी मृत्यु के दिन तक उसके जीवन भर लगातार बना रहा।

34. His porcion was a continuall portion giuen him of ye king of Babel, euery day a certaine, all the dayes of his life vntill he died.
