1. सिरयोन के निमित्त मैं चुप न रहूंगा, और यरूशलेम के निमित्त मैं चैन न लूंगा, जब तक कि उसकी धार्मिकता प्रकाश की नाईं और उसका उद्धार जलते हुए पलीते के समान दिखाई न दे।

1. For Zion's sake I will not hold My peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until her righteousness go forth as light, and My salvation burn as a torch.

2. जब अन्यजातियां तेरा धर्म और सब राजा तेरी महिमा देखेंगे; और तेरा एक नया नाम रखा जाएगा जो यहोवा के मुख से निकलेगा।

2. And the Gentiles shall see your righteousness, and kings your glory; and one shall call you [by] a new name, which the Lord shall name.

3. तू यहोवा के हाथ में एक शोभायमान मुकुट और अपने पमेश्वर की हथेली में राजमुकुट ठहरेगी।

3. And you shall be a crown of beauty in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God.

4. तू फिर त्यागी हुई न कहलाएगी, और तेरी भूमि फिर उजड़ी हुई न कहलाएगी; परन्तु तू हेप्सीबा और तेरी भूमि ब्यूला कहलाएगी; क्योंकि यहोवा तुझ से प्रसन्न है, और तेरी भूमि सुहागन होगी।

4. And you shall no more be called Forsaken; and your land shall no more be called Desert; for you shall be called My Pleasure, and your land Inhabited; for the Lord has taken pleasure in you, and your land shall be inhabited.

5. क्योंकि जिस प्रकार जवान पुरूष एक कुमारी को ब्याह लाता है, वैसे ही तेरे पुत्रा तुझे ब्याह लेंगे; और, जैसे दुल्हा अपनी दुल्हिन के कारण हर्षित होता है, वैसे ही तेरा परमेश्वर तेरे कारण हर्षित होगा।।

5. And as a young man lives with a virgin, so shall your sons dwell in [you]; and it shall come to pass [that] as a bridegroom will rejoice over a bride, so will the Lord rejoice over you.

6. हे यरूशलेम, मैं ने तेरी शहरपनाह पर पहरूए बैठाए हैं; वे दिन- रात कभी चुप न रहेंगे। हे यहोवा को स्मरण करनेवालो, चुप न रहो,

6. And on your walls, O Jerusalem, have I set watchmen all day and all night, who shall never cease making mention of the Lord.

7. और, जब तक वह यरूशलेम को स्थिर करके उसकी प्रशंसा पृथ्वी पर न फैला दे, तब तक उसे भी चैन न लेने दो।

7. For there is none like You, when He shall have established, and made Jerusalem a praise on the earth.

8. यहोवा ने अपने दहिने हाथ की और अपनी बलवन्त भुजा की शपथ खाई है: निश्चय मैं भविष्य में तेरा अन्न अब फिर तेरे शत्रुओं को खाने के लिये न दूंगा, और परदेशियों के पुत्रा तेरा नया दाखमधु जिसके लिये तू ने परिश्रम किया है, नहीं पीने पाएंगे;

8. For the Lord has sworn by His glory, and by the might of His arm, I will no more give your grain and your provisions to your enemies; nor shall strangers anymore drink your wine, for which you have labored.

9. केवल वे ही, जिन्हों ने उसे खत्ते में रखा हो, उस से खाकर यहोवा की स्तुति करेंगे, और जिन्हों ने दाखमधु भण्डारों में रखा हो, वे ही उसे मेरे पवित्रास्थान के आंगनों में पीने पाएंगे।।

9. But they that have gathered them shall eat them, and they shall praise the Lord; and they that have gathered [the grapes] shall drink thereof in My holy courts.

10. जाओ, फाटकों में से निकल जाओ, प्रजा के लिये मार्ग सुधारो; राजमार्ग सुधारकर ऊंचा करो, उस में के पत्थर बीन बीनकर फेंक दो, देश देश के लोगों के लिये झण्डा खड़ा करो।

10. Go through My gates, and make a way for My people; and cast the stones out of the way; lift up a standard for the Gentiles.

11. देखो, यहोवा ने पृथ्वी की छोर तक इस आज्ञा का प्रचार किया है: सिरयोन की बेटी से कहो, देख, तेरा उद्धारकर्ता आता है, देख, जो मजदूरी उसको देनी है वह उसके पास है और उसका काम उसके सामने है।

11. For behold, the Lord has proclaimed to the end of the earth, say to the daughter of Zion, Behold, your Savior has come to you, having His reward and His work before His face.

12. और लोग उनको पवित्रा प्रजा और यहोवा के छुड़ाए हुए कहेंगे; और तेरा नाम ग्रहण की हुई अर्थात् न- त्यागी हुई नगरी पड़ेगा।।

12. And one shall call them the holy people, the redeemed of the Lord; and you shall be called a city sought out, and not forsaken.
