1. हे इस्राएल तेरा रचनेवाला और हे याकूब तेरा सृजनहार यहोवा अब यों कहता है, मत डर, क्योंकि मैं ने तुझे छुड़ा लिया है; मैं ने तुझे नाम लेकर बुलाया है, तू मेरा ही है।

1. Now, therefore, Thus, saith Yahweh Creating thee, O Jacob, and Fashioning thee O Israel, Do not fear, For I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name. Mine, thou art!

2. जब तू जल में होकर जाए, मैं तेरे संग संग रहूंगा और जब तू नदियों में होकर चले, तब वे तुझे न डुबा सकेंगी; जब तू आग में चले तब तुझे आंच न लगेगी, और उसकी लौ तुझे न जला सकेगी।

2. When thou passest through the waters, with thee, I am, Or, through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee, When thou walkest through fire, thou shall not be scorched, And, a flame, shall not kindle upon thee;

3. क्योंकि मैं यहोवा तेरा परमेश्वर हूं, इस्राएल का पवित्रा मैं तेरा उद्धारकर्ता हूं। तेरी छुड़ौती में मैं मि को और तेरी सन्ती कूश और सबा को देता हूं।

3. For, I, Yahweh, am, Thy God, The Holy One of Israel Ready to save thee, I have given, as thy ransom, Egypt, Ethiopia and Seba, in thy stead.

4. मेरी दृष्टि में तू अनमोल और प्रतिष्ठित ठहरा है और मैं तुझ से प्रेम रखता हूं, इस कारण मैं तेरी सन्ती मनुष्यों को और तेरे प्राण के बदले में राज्य राज्य के लोगों को दे दूंगा।

4. Because thou art precious in mine eyes, art honoured And, I, love thee, And will give mankind, in thy stead, Yea, peoples, for thy life,

5. मत डर, क्योंकि मैं तेरे साथ हूं; मैं तेरे वंश को पूर्व से ले आऊंगा, और पच्छिम से भी इकट्ठा करूंगा।

5. Do not fear for, with thee, I am, From the East, will I bring in thy seed, And, from the West, will I gather thee:

6. मैं उत्तर से कहूंगा, दे दे, और दक्खिन से कि रोक मत रख; मेरे पुत्रों को दूर से और मेरी पुत्रियों को पृथ्वी की छोर से ले आओ;

6. I will say to the North Give up! And to the South Do not withhold! Bring in My sons from far, and My daughters from the end of the earth;

7. हर एक को जो मेरा कहलाता है, जिसको मैं ने अपनी महिमा के लिये सृजा, जिसको मैं ने रचा और बनाया है।।

7. Every one who is called by my Name, Whom for mine own glory, I have created formed yea, made!

8. आंख रहते हुए अन्धों को और कान रहते हुए बहिरों को निकाल ले आओ!

8. Bring forth A blind people that have, eyes, and A deaf, that have, ears.

9. जाति जाति के लोग इकट्ठे किए जाएं और राज्य राज्य के लोग एकत्रित हों। उन में से कौन यह बात बता सकता वा बीती हुई बातें हमें सुना सकता है? वे अपने साक्षी ले आएं जिस से वे सच्चे ठहरें, वे सुन लें और कहें, यह सत्य है।

9. All the nations, are gathered together Yea there is an assembling of peoples, Who among them, can tell this, And things in advance, can let us hear? Let them set forth their witnesses that they may get their right, Or let them hear, and say Truth!

10. यहोवा की वाणी है कि तुम मेरे साक्षी हो और मेरे दास हो, जिन्हें मैं ने इसलिये चुना है कि समझकर मेरी प्रतीति करो और यह जान लो कि मैं वही हूं। मुझ से पहिले कोई ईश्वर न हुआ और न मेरे बाद कोई होगा।

10. Ye, are my witnesses Declareth Yahweh, And my Servant, whom I have chosen, That ye may take note and believe me, And perceive that, I, am He, Before me, was not formed a GOD, Nor after me, shall one come into being:

11. मैं ही यहोवा हूं और मुझे छोड़ कोई उद्धारकर्ता नहीं।

11. I I, am Yahweh, And there is none besides me ready to save:

12. मैं ही ने समाचार दिया और उद्धार किया और वर्णन भी किया, जब तुम्हारे बीच में कोई पराया देवता न था; इसलिये तुम ही मेरे साक्षी हो, यहोवा की यह वाणी है।

12. I, have told and will save, and make known, That there is among you no strange one; And, ye, are my witnesses, Declareth Yahweh That, I, am GOD.

13. मैं ही ईश्वर हूं और भविष्य में भी मैं ही हूं; मेरे हाथ से कोई छुड़ा न सकेगा; जब मैं काम करना चाहूं तब कौन मुझे रोक सकेगा।।

13. Even from To-day, I, am He, And none, out of my hand, can deliver, I work and who reverseth?

14. तुम्हारा छुड़ानेवाला और इस्राएल का पवित्रा यहोवा यों कहता है, तुम्हारे निमित्त मैं ने बाबुल को भेजा है, और उसके सब रहनेवालों को भगोड़ों की दशा में और कसदियों को भी उन्हीं के जहाजों पर चढ़ाकर ले आऊंगा जिन के विषय वे बड़ा बोल बोलते हैं।

14. Thus saith Yahweh, Your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel, For your sakes, have I sent into Babylon, And will bring down as fugitives, all of them, Even the Chaldeans, in the ships which cause them loud outcry.

15. मैं यहोवा तुम्हारा पवित्रा, इस्राएल का सृजनहार, तुम्हारा राजा हूं।

15. I Yahweh, am Your Holy One, The Creator of Israel, Your King.

16. यहोवा जो समुद्र में मार्ग और प्रचण्ड धारा में पथ बनाता है,

16. Thus, saith Yahweh, Who setteth in the sea, a way, And in the mighty waters, a path;

17. जो रथों और घोड़ों को और शूरवीरों समेत सेना को निकाल लाता है, (वे तो एक संग वहीं रह गए और फिर नहीं उठ सकते, वे बुझ गए, वे सन की बत्ती की नाईं बुझ गए हैं।) वह यों कहता है,

17. Who bringeth forth Chariot and horse, Force and strength, Together, shall they he down They shall not arise, They are extinguished Like a wick, are they quenched!

18. अब बीती हुई घटनाओं का स्मरण मत करो, न प्राचीनकाल की बातों पर मन लगाओ।
2 कुरिन्थियों 5:17

18. Do not keep in mind former things, And things of old, do not consider:

19. देखो, मैं एक नई बात करता हूं; वह अभी प्रगट होगी, क्या तुम उस से अनजान रहोगे? मैं जंगल में एक मार्ग बनाऊंगा और निर्जल देश में नदियां बहाऊंगा।

19. Behold me! doing a new thing, Now, shall it spring forth, Will ye not take note thereof? Surely I will set In the desert, a way, In a desolate land, rivers:

20. गीदड़ और शुतर्मुर्ग आदि जंगली जन्तु मेरी महिमा करेंगे; क्योंकि मैं अपनी चुनी हुई प्रजा के पीने के लिये जंगल में जल और निर्जल देश में नदियां बहाऊंगा।

20. The wild beast of the field shall honour me, Jackals, and ostriches, Because I have given In the desert, waters, Rivers in, desolate land, To give drink unto my people, my chosen:

21. इस प्रजा को मैं ने अपने लिये बनाया है कि वे मेरा गुणानुवाद करें।।
1 पतरस 2:9

21. A people which I have fashioned for myself, My praise, shall they record.

22. तौभी हे याकूब, तू ने मुझ से प्रार्थना नहीं की; वरन हे इस्राएल तू मुझ से उकता गया है!

22. Yet not upon me, hast thou called, O Jacob, For thou hast been wearied of me O Israel:

23. मेरे लिये होमबलि करने को तू मेम्ने नहीं लाया और न मेलबलि चढ़ाकर मेरी महिमा की है। देख, मैं ने अन्नबलि चढ़ाने की कठिन सेवा तुझ से नहीं कराई, न तुझ से धूप लेकर तुझे थका दिया है।

23. Thou hast not brought in to me small cattle as thine ascending-offerings, Nor, with thy sacrifices, hast thou honoured me, I have not oppressed thee with meal-offerings, Nor have I wearied thee with frankincense;

24. तू मेरे लिये सुगन्धित नरकट रूपऐ से मोल नहीं लाया और न मेलबलियों की चर्बी से मुझे तृप्त किया। परन्तु तू ने अपने पापों के कारण मुझ पर बोझ लाट दिया है, और अपने अधर्म के कामों से मुझे थका दिया है।।

24. Thou hast not bought for me with silver, fragrant calamus, Nor with the fat of thy sacrifices, hast thou sated me, Thou hast done nothing but oppress me with thy sins, Thou hast wearied me with thine iniquities.

25. मैं वही हूं जो अपने नाम के निमित्त तेरे अपराधों को मिटा देता हूं और तेरे पापों को स्मरण न करूंगा।
मरकुस 2:7, लूका 5:21

25. I I, am he that is ready, To wipe out thy transgressions for mine own sake, And, thy sins, not remember.

26. मुझे स्मरण करो, हम आपस में विवाद करें; तू अपनी बात का वर्णन कर जिस से तू निर्दोष ठहरे।

26. Put me in mind, Let us enter into judgment at once, Recount, thou, that thou mayest be justified:

27. तेरा मूलपुरूष पापी हुआ और जो जो मेरे और तुम्हारे बीच बिचवई हुए, वे मुझ से बलवा करते चले आए हैं।

27. Thy chief father, hath sinned, And thine interpreters, have transgressed against me;

28. इस कारण मैं ने पवित्रास्थान के हाकिमों को अपवित्रा ठहराया, मैं ने याकूब को सत्यानाश और इस्राएल को निन्दित होने दिया है।।

28. So then I must needs profane the rulers of the holy place, And deliver Jacob to be devoted to destruction, and Israel, unto reviling!
