1. हे परमेश्वर, मुझ पर अनुग्रह कर, क्योंकि मनुष्य मुझे निगलना चाहते हैं। वे दिन भर लड़कर मुझे सताते हैं।

1. To him that excelleth. A Psalme of David on Michtam, concerning the dumme doue in a farre countrey, when the Philistims tooke him in Gath. Be mercifull vnto me, O God, for man would swallow me vp: he fighteth continually and vexeth me.

2. मेरे द्रोही दिन भर मुझे निगलना चाहते हैं, क्योंकि जो लोग अभिमान करके मुझ से लड़ते हैं वे बहुत हैं।

2. Mine enemies would dayly swallowe mee vp: for many fight against me, O thou most High.

3. जिस समय मुझे डल लगेगा, मैं तुझ पर भरोसा रखूंगा।

3. When I was afrayd, I trusted in thee.

4. परमेश्वर की सहायता से मैं उसके वचन की प्रशंसा करूंगा, परमेश्वर पर मैं ने भरोसा रखा है, मैं नहीं डरूंगा। कोई प्राणी मेरा क्या कर सकता है?

4. I will reioyce in God, because of his word, I trust in God, and will not feare what flesh can doe vnto me.

5. वे दिन भर मेरे वचनों को, उलटा अर्थ लगा लगाकर मरोड़ते रहते हैंद्ध उनकी सारी कल्पनाएं मेरी ही बुराई करने की होती है।

5. Mine owne wordes grieue me dayly: all their thoughtes are against me to doe me hurt.

6. वे सब मिलकर इकट्ठे होते हैं और छिपकर बैठते हैं; वे मेरे कदमों को देखते भालते हैं मानों वे मेरे प्राणों की घात में ताक लगाए बैठें हों।

6. They gather together, and keepe them selues close: they marke my steps, because they waite for my soule.

7. क्या वे बुराई करके भी बच जाएंगे? हे परमेश्वर, अपने क्रोध से देश देश के लोगों को गिरा दे!

7. They thinke they shall escape by iniquitie: O God, cast these people downe in thine anger.

8. तू मेरे मारे मारे फिरने का हिसाब रखता है; तू मेरे आंसुओं को अपनी कुप्पी में रख ले! क्या उनकी चर्चा तेरी पुस्तक में नहीं है?

8. Thou hast counted my wandrings: put my teares into thy bottel: are they not in thy register?

9. जब जिस समय मैं पुकारूंगा, उसी समय मेरे शत्रु उलटे फिरेंगे। यह मैं जानता हूं, कि परमेश्वर मेरी ओर है।

9. When I cry, then mine enemies shall turne backe: this I know, for God is with me.

10. परमेश्वर की सहायता से मैं उसके वचन की प्रशंसा करूंगा, यहोवा की सहायता से मैं उसके वचन की प्रशंसा करूंगा।

10. I will reioyce in God because of his worde: in the Lord wil I reioyce because of his worde.

11. मैं ने परमेश्वर पर भरोसा रखा है, मैं न डरूंगा। मनुष्य मेरा क्या कर सकता है?

11. In God doe I trust: I will not be afrayd what man can doe vnto me.

12. हे परमेश्वर, तेरी मन्नतों का भरा मुझ पर बना है; मैं तुझ को धन्यवाद बलि चढ़ाऊंगा।

12. Thy vowes are vpon me, O God: I will render prayses vnto thee.

13. क्योंकि तू ने मुझ को मृत्यु से बचाया है; तू ने मेरे पैरों को भी फिसलने से न बचाया, ताकि मैं ईश्वर के साम्हने जीवतों के उजियाले में चलूं फिरूं?

13. For thou hast deliuered my soule from death, and also my feete from falling, that I may walke before God in the light of the liuing.
