1. हे यहोवा, मेरे वचनों पर कान लगा; मेरे ध्यान करने की ओर मन लगा।

1. To the Chief Musician; on wind instruments. A Psalm of David. LISTEN TO my words, O Lord, give heed to my sighing and groaning.

2. Hear the sound of my cry, my King and my God, for to You do I pray.

3. हे मेरे राजा, हे मेरे परमेश्वर, मेरी दोहाई पर ध्यान दे, क्योंकि मैं तुझी से प्रार्थना करता हूं।

3. In the morning You hear my voice, O Lord; in the morning I prepare [a prayer, a sacrifice] for You and watch and wait [for You to speak to my heart].

4. हे यहोवा, भोर को मेरी वाणी तुझे सुनाई देगी, मैं भोर को प्रार्थना करके तेरी बाट जोहूंगा।

4. For You are not a God Who takes pleasure in wickedness; neither will the evil [man] so much as dwell [temporarily] with You.

5. क्योंकि तू ऐसा ईश्वर नहीं जो दुष्टता से प्रसन्न हो; बुराई तेरे साथ नहीं रह सकती।

5. Boasters can have no standing in Your sight; You abhor all evildoers.

6. घमंडी तेरे सम्मुख खड़े होने न पांएगे; तुझे सब अनर्थकारियों से घृणा है।

6. You will destroy those who speak lies; the Lord abhors [and rejects] the bloodthirsty and deceitful man.

7. तू उनको जो झूठ बोलते हैं नाश करेगा; यहोवा तो हत्यारे और छली मनुष्य से घृणा करता है।

7. But as for me, I will enter Your house through the abundance of Your steadfast love and mercy; I will worship toward and at Your holy temple in reverent fear and awe of You.

8. परन्तु मैं तो तेरी अपार करूणा के कारण तेरे भवन में आऊंगा, मैं तेरा भय मानकर तेरे पवित्रा मन्दिर की ओर दण्डवत् करूंगा।

8. Lead me, O Lord, in Your righteousness because of my enemies; make Your way level (straight and right) before my face.

9. हे यहोवा, मेरे शत्रुओं के कारण अपने धर्म के मार्ग में मेरी अगुवाई कर; मेरे आगे आगे अपने सीधे मार्ग को दिखा।
रोमियों 3:13

9. For there is nothing trustworthy or steadfast or truthful in their talk; their heart is destruction [or a destructive chasm, a yawning gulf]; their throat is an open sepulcher; they flatter and make smooth with their tongue. [Rom. 3:13.]

10. क्योंकि उनके मुंह में कोई सच्चाई नहीं; उनके मन में निरी दुष्टता है। उनका गला खुली हुई कब्र है, वे अपनी जीभ से चिकनी चुपड़ी बातें करते हैं।

10. Hold them guilty, O God; let them fall by their own designs and counsels; cast them out because of the multitude of their transgressions, for they have rebelled against You.

11. हे परमेश्वर तू उनको दोषी ठहरा; वे अपनी ही युक्तियों से आप ही गिर जाएं; उनको उनके अपराधों की अधिकाई के कारण निकाल बाहर कर, क्योंकि उन्हों ने तुझ से बलवा किया है।।

11. But let all those who take refuge and put their trust in You rejoice; let them ever sing and shout for joy, because You make a covering over them and defend them; let those also who love Your name be joyful in You and be in high spirits.

12. परन्तु जितने तुझ पर भरोसा रखते हैं वे सब आनन्द करें, वे सर्वदा ऊंचे स्वर से गाते रहें; क्योंकि तू उनकी रक्षा करता है, और जो तेरे नाम के प्रेमी हैं तुझ में प्रफुल्लित हों।

12. For You, Lord, will bless the [uncompromisingly] righteous [him who is upright and in right standing with You]; as with a shield You will surround him with goodwill (pleasure and favor).
