1. हमारे परमेश्वर के नगर में, और अपने पवित्रा पर्वत पर यहोवा महान् और अति स्तुति के योग्य है!

1. The LORD is great and is to be highly praised in the city of our God, on his sacred hill.

2. सिरयोन पर्वत ऊंचाई में सुन्दर और सारी पृथ्वी के हर्ष का कारण है, राजाधिराज का नगर उत्तरीय सिरे पर है।

2. Zion, the mountain of God, is high and beautiful; the city of the great king brings joy to all the world.

3. उसके महलों में परमेश्वर ऊंचा गढ़ माना गया है।

3. God has shown that there is safety with him inside the fortresses of the city.

4. The kings gathered together and came to attack Mount Zion.

5. उन्हों ने आप ही देखा और देखते ही विस्मित हुए, वे घबराकर भाग गए।

5. But when they saw it, they were amazed; they were afraid and ran away.

6. वहां कपकपी ने उनको आ पकड़ा, और जच्चा की सी पीड़ाएं उन्हें होने लगीं।

6. There they were seized with fear and anguish, like a woman about to bear a child,

7. तू पूर्वी वायु से तर्शीश के जहाजों को तोड़ डालता है।

7. like ships tossing in a furious storm.

8. सेनाओं के यहोवा के नगर में, अपने परमेश्वर के नगर में, जैसा हम ने सुना था, वैसा देखा भी है; परमेश्वर उसको सदा दृढ़ और स्थिर रखेगा।।

8. We have heard what God has done, and now we have seen it in the city of our God, the LORD Almighty; he will keep the city safe forever.

9. हे परमेश्वर हम ने तेरे मन्दिर के भीतर तेरी करूणा पर ध्यान किया है।

9. Inside your Temple, O God, we think of your constant love.

10. हे परमेश्वर तेरे नाम के योग्य तेरी स्तुति पृथ्वी की छोर तक होती है। तेरा दहिना हाथ धर्म से भरा है;

10. You are praised by people everywhere, and your fame extends over all the earth. You rule with justice;

11. तेरे न्याय के कामों के कारण सिरयोन पर्वत आनन्द करे, और यहूदा के नगर की पुत्रियां मगन हों!

11. let the people of Zion be glad! You give right judgments; let there be joy in the cities of Judah!

12. सिरयोन के चारों ओर चलो, और उसकी परिक्रमा करो, उसके गुम्मटों को गिन लो,

12. People of God, walk around Zion and count the towers;

13. उसकी शहरपनाह पर दृष्टि लगाओ, उसके महलों को ध्यान से देखो; जिस से कि तुम आनेवाली पीढ़ी के लोगों से इस बात का वर्णन कर सको।

13. take notice of the walls and examine the fortresses, so that you may tell the next generation:

14. क्योंकि वह परमेश्वर सदा सर्वदा हमारा परमेश्वर है, वह मृत्यु तक हमारी अगुवाई करेगा।।

14. 'This God is our God forever and ever; he will lead us for all time to come.'
