1. दुष्ट जन का अपराण मेरे हृदय के भीतर यह कहता है कि परमेश्वर का भय उसकी दृष्टि में नहीं है।
रोमियों 3:18

1. For the Chief Musician. [A Psalm] of David the slave of Yahweh. The transgression of the wicked says inside his heart, There is no fear of God before his eyes.

2. वह अपने अधर्म के प्रगट होने और घृणित ठहरने के विषय अपने मन में चिकनी चुपड़ी बातें विचारता है।

2. For he flatters himself in his own eyes, That his iniquity will not be found out and be hated.

3. उसकी बातें अनर्थ और छल की हैं; उस ने बुद्धि और भलाई के काम करने से हाथ उठाया है।

3. The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: He has ceased to be wise [and] to do good.

4. वह अपने बिछौने पर पड़े पड़े अनर्थ की कल्पना करता है; वह अपने कुमार्ग पर दृढ़ता से बना रहता है; बुराई से वह हाथ नहीं उठाता।।

4. He devises iniquity on his bed; He sets himself in a way that is not good; He does not abhor evil.

5. हे यहोवा तेरी करूणा स्वर्ग में है, तेरी सच्चाई आकाशमण्डल तक पहुंची है।

5. Your loving-kindness, O Yahweh, is in the heavens; Your faithfulness [reaches] to the skies.

6. तेरा धर्म ऊंचे पर्वतों के समान है, तेरे नियम अथाह सागर ठहरे हैं; हे यहोवा तू मनुष्य और पशु दोनों की रक्षा करता है।।

6. Your righteousness is like the mountains of God; Your judgments are a great deep: O Yahweh, you preserve man and beast.

7. हे परमेश्वर तेरी करूणा, कैसी अनमोल है! मनुष्य तेरे पंखो के तले शरण लेते हैं।

7. How precious is your loving-kindness, O God! And the sons of man take refuge under the shadow of your wings.

8. वे तेरे भवन के चिकने भोजन से तृप्त होंगे, और तू अपनी सुख की नदी में से उन्हें पिलाएगा।

8. They will be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of your house; And you will make them drink of the river of your pleasures.

9. क्योंकि जीवन का सोता तेरे ही पास है; तेरे प्रकाश के द्वारा हम प्रकाश पाएंगे।।

9. For with you is the fountain of life: In your light we will see light.

10. अपने जाननेवालों पर करूणा करता रह, और अपने धर्म के काम सीधे मनवालों में करता रह!

10. Oh continue your loving-kindness to those who know you, And your righteousness to the upright in heart.

11. अहंकारी मुझ पर लात उठाने न पाए, और न दुष्ट अपने हाथ के बल से मुझे भगाने पाए।

11. Don't let the foot of pride come against me, And don't let the hand of the wicked drive me away.

12. वहां अनर्थकारी गिर पड़े हैं; वे ढकेल दिए गए, और फिर उठ न सकेंगे।।

12. There the workers of iniquity have fallen: They are thrust down, and will not be able to rise.
