1. To the Chief Musician. [A Psalm] of David. THE [empty-headed] fool has said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable deeds; there is none that does good or right. [Rom. 3:10.]
2. परमेश्वर ने स्वर्ग में से मनुष्यों पर दृष्टि की है, कि देखे कि कोई बुद्धिमान, कोई परमेश्वर का खोजी है या नहीं।
2. The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men to see if there were any who understood, dealt wisely, and sought after God, inquiring for and of Him and requiring Him [of vital necessity].
3. वे सब के सब भटक गए, वे सब भ्रष्ट हो गए; कोई सुकर्मी नहीं, एक भी नहीं।
3. They are all gone aside, they have all together become filthy; there is none that does good or right, no, not one. [Rom. 3:11, 12.]
4. क्या किसी अनर्थकारी को कुछ भी ज्ञान नहीं रहता, जो मेरे लोगों को ऐसे खा जाते हैं जैसे रोटी, और परमेश्वर का नाम नहीं लेते?
4. Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge, who eat up my people as they eat bread and who do not call on the Lord?
5. वहां उन पर भय छा गया, क्योंकि परमेश्वर धर्मी लोगों के बीच में निरन्तर रहता है।
5. There they shall be in great fear [literally--dreading a dread], for God is with the generation of the [uncompromisingly] righteous (those upright and in right standing with Him).
6. तुम तो दीन की युक्ति की हंसी उड़ाते हो इसलिये कि यहोवा उसका शरणस्थान है।
6. You [evildoers] would put to shame and confound the plans of the poor and patient, but the Lord is his safe refuge.
7. भला हो कि इस्राएल का उद्धार सिरयोन से प्रगट होता! जब यहोवा अपनी प्रजा को दासत्व से लौटा ले आएगा, तब याकूब मगन और इस्राएल आनन्दित होगा।।रोमियों 11:26-27
7. Oh, that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When the Lord shall restore the fortunes of His people, then Jacob shall rejoice and Israel shall be glad. [Rom. 11:25-27.]
