1. क्या ही धन्य हैं वे जो चाल के खरे हैं, और यहोवा की व्यवस्था पर चलते हैं!

1. BLESSED (HAPPY, fortunate, to be envied) are the undefiled (the upright, truly sincere, and blameless) in the way [of the revealed will of God], who walk (order their conduct and conversation) in the law of the Lord (the whole of God's revealed will).

2. क्या ही धन्य हैं वे जो उसकी चितौनियों को मानते हैं, और पूर्ण मन से उसके पास आते हैं!

2. Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) are they who keep His testimonies, and who seek, inquire for and of Him and crave Him with the whole heart.

3. फिर वे कुटिलता का काम नहीं करते, वे उसके मार्गों में चलते हैं।

3. Yes, they do no unrighteousness [no willful wandering from His precepts]; they walk in His ways. [I John 3:9; 5:18.]

4. तू ने अपने उपदेश इसलिये दिए हैं, कि वे यत्न से माने जाएं।

4. You have commanded us to keep Your precepts, that we should observe them diligently.

5. भला होता कि तेरी विधियों के मानने के लिये मेरी चालचलन दृढ़ हो जाए!

5. Oh, that my ways were directed and established to observe Your statutes [hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying them]!

6. तब मैं तेरी सब आज्ञाओं की ओर चित्त लगाए रहूंगा, और मेरी आशा न टूटेगी।

6. Then shall I not be put to shame [by failing to inherit Your promises] when I have respect to all Your commandments.

7. जब मैं तेरे धर्ममय नियमों को सीखूंगा, तब तेरा धन्यवाद सीधे मन से करूंगा।

7. I will praise and give thanks to You with uprightness of heart when I learn [by sanctified experiences] Your righteous judgments [Your decisions against and punishments for particular lines of thought and conduct].

8. मैं तेरी विधियों को मानूंगा: मुझे पूरी रीति से न तज!

8. I will keep Your statutes; O forsake me not utterly.

9. जवान अपनी चाल को किस उपाय से शुद्ध रखे? तेरे वचन के अनुसार सावधान रहने से।

9. How shall a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed and keeping watch [on himself] according to Your word [conforming his life to it].

10. मैं पूरे मन से तेरी खोज मे लगा हूं; मुझे तेरी आज्ञाओं की बाट से भटकने न दे!

10. With my whole heart have I sought You, inquiring for and of You and yearning for You; Oh, let me not wander or step aside [either in ignorance or willfully] from Your commandments. [II Chron. 15:15.]

11. मैं ने तेरे वचन को अपने हृदय में रख छोड़ा है, कि तेरे विरूद्ध पाप न करूं।

11. Your word have I laid up in my heart, that I might not sin against You.

12. हे यहोवा, तू धन्य है; मुझे अपनी विधियां सिखा!

12. Blessed are You, O Lord; teach me Your statutes.

13. तेरे सब कहे हुए नियमों का वर्णन, मैं ने अपने मुंह से किया है।

13. With my lips have I declared and recounted all the ordinances of Your mouth.

14. मैं तेरी चितौनियों के मार्ग से, मानों सब प्रकार के धन से हर्षित हुआ हूं।

14. I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies as much as in all riches.

15. मैं तेरे उपदेशों पर ध्यान करूंगा, और तेरे मार्गों की ओर दृष्टि रखूंगा।

15. I will meditate on Your precepts and have respect to Your ways [the paths of life marked out by Your law]. [Ps. 104:34.]

16. मैं तेरी विधियों से सुख पाऊंगा; और तेरे वचन को न भूलूंगा।।

16. I will delight myself in Your statutes; I will not forget Your word.

17. अपने दास का उपकार कर, कि मैं जीवित रहूं, और तेरे वचन पर चलता रहूं।

17. Deal bountifully with Your servant, that I may live; and I will observe Your word [hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying it]. [Ps. 119:97-101.]

18. मेरी आंखें खोल दे, कि मैं तेरी व्यवस्था की अद्भुत बातें देख सकूं।

18. Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of Your law.

19. मैं तो पृथ्वी पर परदेशी हूं; अपनी आज्ञाओं को मुझ से छिपाए न रख!

19. I am a stranger and a temporary resident on the earth; hide not Your commandments from me. [Gen. 47:9; I Chron. 29:15; Ps. 39:12; II Cor. 5:6; Heb. 11:13.]

20. मेरा मन तेरे नियमों की अभिलाषा के कारण हर समय खेदित रहता है।

20. My heart is breaking with the longing that it has for Your ordinances and judgments at all times.

21. तू ने अभिमानियों को, जो शापित हैं, घुड़का है, वे तेरी आज्ञाओं की बाट से भटके हुए हैं।

21. You rebuke the proud and arrogant, the accursed ones, who err and wander from Your commandments.

22. मेरी नामधराई और अपमान दूर कर, क्योंकि मैं तेरी चितौनियों को पकड़े हूं।

22. Take away from me reproach and contempt, for I keep Your testimonies.

23. हाकिम भी बैठे हुए आपास में मेरे विरूद्ध बातें करते थे, परन्तु तेरा दास तेरी विधियों पर ध्यान करता रहा।

23. Princes also sat and talked against me, but Your servant meditated on Your statutes.

24. तेरी चितौनियां मेरा सुखमूल और मेरे मन्त्री हैं।।

24. Your testimonies also are my delight and my counselors.

25. मैं धूल में पड़ा हूं; तू अपने वचन के अनुसार मुझ को जिला!

25. My earthly life cleaves to the dust; revive and stimulate me according to Your word! [Ps. 143:11.]

26. मैं ने अपनी चालचलन का तुझ से वर्णन किया है और तू ने मेरी बात मान ली है; तू मुझ को अपनी विधियां सिखा!

26. I have declared my ways and opened my griefs to You, and You listened to me; teach me Your statutes.

27. अपने उपदेशों का मार्ग मुझे बता, तब मैं तेरे आश्यर्चकर्मों पर ध्यान करूंगा।

27. Make me understand the way of Your precepts; so shall I meditate on and talk of Your wondrous works. [Ps. 145:5, 6.]

28. मेरा जीवन उदासी के मारे गल चला है; तू अपने वचन के अनुसार मुझे सम्भल!

28. My life dissolves and weeps itself away for heaviness; raise me up and strengthen me according to [the promises of] Your word.

29. मुझ को झूठ के मार्ग से दूर कर; और करूणा करके अपनी व्यवस्था मुझे दे।

29. Remove from me the way of falsehood and unfaithfulness [to You], and graciously impart Your law to me.

30. मैं ने सच्चाई का मार्ग चुन लिया है, तेरे नियमों की ओर मैं चित्त लगाए रहता हूं।

30. I have chosen the way of truth and faithfulness; Your ordinances have I set before me.

31. मैं तेरी चितौनियों में लवलीन हूं, हे यहोवा, मेरी आशा न तोड़!

31. I cleave to Your testimonies; O Lord, put me not to shame!

32. जब तू मेरा हियाव बढ़ाएगा, तब मैं तेरी आज्ञाओ के मार्ग में दौडूंगा।।

32. I will [not merely walk, but] run the way of Your commandments, when You give me a heart that is willing.

33. हे यहोवा, मुझे अपनी विधियों का मार्ग दिखा दे; तब मैं उसे अन्त तक पकड़े रहूंगा।

33. Teach me, O Lord, the way of Your statutes, and I will keep it to the end [steadfastly].

34. मुझे समझ दे, तब मैं तेरी व्यवस्था को पकड़े रहूंगा और पूर्ण मन से उस पर चलूंगा।

34. Give me understanding, that I may keep Your law; yes, I will observe it with my whole heart. [Prov. 2:6; James 1:5.]

35. अपनी आज्ञाओं के पथ में मुझ को चला, क्योंकि मैं उसी से प्रसन्न हूं।

35. Make me go in the path of Your commandments, for in them do I delight.

36. मेरे मन को लोभ की ओर नहीं, अपनी चितौनियों ही की ओर फेर दे।

36. Incline my heart to Your testimonies and not to covetousness (robbery, sensuality, unworthy riches). [Ezek. 33:31; Mark 7:21, 22; I Tim. 6:10; Heb. 13:5.]

37. मेरी आंखों को व्यर्थ वस्तुओं की ओर से फेर दे; तू अपने मार्ग में मुझे जिला।

37. Turn away my eyes from beholding vanity (idols and idolatry); and restore me to vigorous life and health in Your ways.

38. तेरा वचन जो तेरे भय माननेवालों के लिये है, उसको अपने दास के निमित्त भी पूरा कर।

38. Establish Your word and confirm Your promise to Your servant, which is for those who reverently fear and devotedly worship You. [Deut. 10:12; Ps. 96:9.]

39. जिस नामधराई से मैं डरता हूं, उसे दूर कर; क्योंकि तेरे नियम उत्तम हैं।

39. Turn away my reproach which I fear and dread, for Your ordinances are good.

40. देख, मैं तेरे उपदेशों का अभिलाषी हूं; अपने धर्म के कारण मुझ को जिला।

40. Behold, I long for Your precepts; in Your righteousness give me renewed life.

41. हे यहोवा, तेरी करूणा और तेरा किया हुआ उद्धार, तेरे वचन के अनुसार, मुझ को भी मिले;

41. Let Your mercy and loving-kindness come also to me, O Lord, even Your salvation according to Your promise;

42. तब मैं अपनी नामधराई करनेवालों को कुछ उत्तर दे सकूंगा, क्योंकि मेरा भरोसा, तेरे वचन पर है।

42. Then shall I have an answer for those who taunt and reproach me, for I lean on, rely on, and trust in Your word.

43. मुझे अपने सत्य वचन कहने से न रोक क्योंकि मेरी आशा तेरे नियमों पर है।

43. And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth, for I hope in Your ordinances.

44. तब मैं तेरी व्यवस्था पर लगातार, सदा सर्वदा चलता रहूंगा;

44. I will keep Your law continually, forever and ever [hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying it].

45. और मैं चोड़े स्थान में चला फिरा करूंगा, क्योंकि मैं ने तेरे उपदेशों की सुधि रखी है।

45. And I will walk at liberty and at ease, for I have sought and inquired for [and desperately required] Your precepts.

46. और मैं तेरी चितौनियों की चर्चा राजाओं के साम्हने भी करूंगा, और संकोच न करूंगा;

46. I will speak of Your testimonies also before kings and will not be put to shame. [Ps. 138:1; Matt. 10:18, 19; Acts 26:1, 2.]

47. क्योंकि मैं तेरी आज्ञाओं के कारण सुखी हूं, और मैं उन से प्रीति रखता हूं।

47. For I will delight myself in Your commandments, which I love.

48. मैं तेरी आज्ञाओं की ओर जिन में मैं प्रीति रखता हूं, हाथ फैलाऊंगा और तेरी विधियों पर ध्यान करूंगा।।

48. My hands also will I lift up [in fervent supplication] to Your commandments, which I love, and I will meditate on Your statutes.

49. जो वचन तू ने अपने दास को दिया है, उसे स्मरण कर, क्योंकि तू ने मुझे आशा दी है।

49. Remember [fervently] the word and promise to Your servant, in which You have caused me to hope.

50. मेरे दु:ख में मुझे शान्ति उसी से हुई है, क्योंकि तेरे वचन के द्वारा मैं ने जीवन पाया है।

50. This is my comfort and consolation in my affliction: that Your word has revived me and given me life. [Rom. 15:4.]

51. अभिमानियों ने मुझे अत्यन्त ठट्ठे में उड़ाया है, तौभी मैं तेरी व्यवस्था से नहीं हटा।

51. The proud have had me greatly in derision, yet have I not declined in my interest in or turned aside from Your law.

52. हे यहोवा, मैं ने तेरे प्राचीन नियमों को स्मरण करके शान्ति पाई है।

52. When I have [earnestly] recalled Your ordinances from of old, O Lord, I have taken comfort.

53. जो दुष्ट तेरी व्यवस्था को छोड़े हुए हैं, उनके कारण मैं सन्ताप से जलता हूं।

53. Burning indignation, terror, and sadness seize upon me because of the wicked, who forsake Your law.

54. जहां मैं परदेशी होकर रहता हूं, वहां तेरी विधियां, मेरे गीत गाने का विषय बनी हैं।

54. Your statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.

55. हे यहोवा, मैं ने रात को तेरा नाम स्मरण किया और तेरी व्यवस्था पर चला हूं।

55. I have [earnestly] remembered Your name, O Lord, in the night, and I have observed Your law.

56. यह मुझ से इस कारण हुआ, कि मैं तेरे उपदेशों को पकड़े हुए था।।

56. This I have had [as the gift of Your grace and as my reward]: that I have kept Your precepts [hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying them].

57. यहोवा मेरा भाग है; मैं ने तेरे वचनों के अनुसार चलने का निश्चय किया है।

57. You are my portion, O Lord; I have promised to keep Your words.

58. मैं ने पूरे मन से तुझे मनाया है; इसलिये अपने वचन के अनुसार मुझ पर अनुग्रह कर।

58. I entreated Your favor with my whole heart; be merciful and gracious to me according to Your promise.

59. मैं ने अपनी चालचलन को सोचा, और तेरी चितौनियों का मार्ग लिया।

59. I considered my ways; I turned my feet to [obey] Your testimonies.

60. मैं ने तेरी आज्ञाओं के मानने में विलम्ब नहीं, फुर्ती की है।

60. I made haste and delayed not to keep Your commandments.

61. मैं दुष्टों की रस्सियों से बन्ध गया हूं, तौभी मैं तेरी व्यवस्था को नहीं भूला।

61. Though the cords of the wicked have enclosed and ensnared me, I have not forgotten Your law.

62. तेरे धर्ममय नियमों के कारण मैं आधी रात को तेरा धन्यवाद करने को उठूंगा।

62. At midnight I will rise to give thanks to You because of Your righteous ordinances.

63. जितने तेरा भय मानते और तेरे उपदेशों पर चलते हैं, उनका मैं संगी हूं।

63. I am a companion of all those who fear, revere, and worship You, and of those who observe and give heed to Your precepts.

64. हे यहोवा, तेरी करूणा पृथ्वी में भरी हुई है; तू मुझे अपनी विधियां सिखा!

64. The earth, O Lord, is full of Your mercy and loving-kindness; teach me Your statutes.

65. हे यहोवा, तू ने अपने वचन के अनुसार अपने दास के संग भलाई की है।

65. You have dealt well with Your servant, O Lord, according to Your promise.

66. मुझे भली विवेक- शक्ति और ज्ञान दे, क्योंकि मैं ने तेरी आज्ञाओं का विश्वास किया है।

66. Teach me good judgment, wise and right discernment, and knowledge, for I have believed (trusted, relied on, and clung to) Your commandments.

67. उस से पहिले कि मैं दु:खित हुआ, मैं भटकता था; परन्तु अब मैं तेरे वचन को मानता हूं।

67. Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now Your word do I keep [hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying it].

68. तू भला है, और भला करता भी है; मुझे अपनी विधियां सिखा।

68. You are good and kind and do good; teach me Your statutes.

69. अभिमानियों ने तो मेरे विरूद्ध झूठ बात गढ़ी है, परन्तु मैं तेरे उपदेशों को पूरे मन से पकड़े रहूंगा।

69. The arrogant and godless have put together a lie against me, but I will keep Your precepts with my whole heart.

70. उनका मन मोटा हो गया है, परन्तु मैं तेरी व्यवस्था के कारण सुखी हूं।

70. Their hearts are as fat as grease [their minds are dull and brutal], but I delight in Your law.

71. मुझे जो दु:ख हुआ वह मेरे लिये भला ही हुआ है, जिस से मैं तेरी विधियों को सीख सकूं।

71. It is good for me that I have been afflicted, that I might learn Your statutes.

72. तेरी दी हुई व्यवस्था मेरे लिये हजारों रूपयों और मुहरों से भी उत्तम है।।

72. The law from Your mouth is better to me than thousands of gold and silver pieces.

73. तेरे हाथों से मैं बनाया और रचा गया हूं; मुझे समझ दे कि मैं तेरी आज्ञाओं को सीखूं।

73. Your hands have made me, cunningly fashioned and established me; give me understanding, that I may learn Your commandments.

74. तेरे डरवैये मुझे देखकर आनन्दित होंगे, क्योंकि मैं ने तेरे वचन पर आशा लगाई है।

74. Those who reverently and worshipfully fear You will see me and be glad, because I have hoped in Your word and tarried for it.

75. हे यहोवा, मैं जान गया कि तेरे नियम धर्ममय हैं, और तू ने अपने सच्चाई के अनुसार मुझे दु:ख दिया है।

75. I know, O Lord, that Your judgments are right and righteous, and that in faithfulness You have afflicted me. [Heb. 12:10.]

76. मुझे अपनी करूणा से शान्ति दे, क्योंकि तू ने अपने दास को ऐसा ही वचन दिया है।

76. Let, I pray You, Your merciful kindness and steadfast love be for my comfort, according to Your promise to Your servant.

77. तेरी दया मुझ पर हो, तब मैं जीवित रहूंगा; क्योंकि मैं तेरी व्यवस्था से सुखी हूं।

77. Let Your tender mercy and loving-kindness come to me that I may live, for Your law is my delight!

78. अभिमानियों की आशा टूटे, क्योंकि उन्हों ने मुझे झूठ के द्वारा गिरा दिया है; परन्तु मैं तेरे उपदेशों पर ध्यान करूंगा।

78. Let the proud be put to shame, for they dealt perversely with me without a cause; but I will meditate on Your precepts.

79. जो तेरा भय मानते हैं, वह मेरी ओर फिरें, तब वे तेरी चितौनियों को समझ लेंगे।

79. Let those who reverently and worshipfully fear You turn to me, and those who have known Your testimonies.

80. मेरा मन तेरी विधियों के मानने में सिद्ध हो, ऐसा न हो कि मुझे लज्जित होना पड़े।।

80. Let my heart be sound (sincere and wholehearted and blameless) in Your statutes, that I may not be put to shame.

81. मेरा प्राण तेरे उद्धार के लिये बैचेन है; परन्तु मुझे तेरे वचन पर आशा रहती है।

81. My soul languishes and grows faint for Your salvation, but I hope in Your word.

82. मेरी आंखें तेरे वचन के पूरे होने की बाट जोहते जोहते रह गईं है; और मैं कहता हूं कि तू मुझे कब शान्ति देगा?

82. My eyes fail, watching for [the fulfillment of] Your promise. I say, When will You comfort me?

83. क्योंकि मैं धूएं में की कुप्पी के समान हो गया हूं, तौभी तेरी विधियों को नहीं भूला।

83. For I have become like a bottle [a wineskin blackened and shriveled] in the smoke [in which it hangs], yet do I not forget Your statutes.

84. तेरे दास के कितने दिन रह गए हैं? तू मेरे पीछे पड़े हुओं को दण्ड कब देगा?

84. How many are the days of Your servant [which he must endure]? When will You judge those who pursue and persecute me? [Rev. 6:10.]

85. अभिमानी जो तरी व्यवस्था के अनुसार नहीं चलते, उन्हों ने मेरे लिये गड़हे खोदे हैं।

85. The godless and arrogant have dug pitfalls for me, men who do not conform to Your law.

86. तेरी सब आज्ञाएं विश्वासयोग्य हैं; वे लोग झूठ बोलते हुए मेरे पीछे पड़े हैं; तू मेरी सहायता कर!

86. All Your commandments are faithful and sure. [The godless] pursue and persecute me with falsehood; help me [Lord]!

87. वे मुझ को पृथ्वी पर से मिटा डालने ही पर थे, परन्तु मैं ने तेरे उपदेशों को नहीं छोड़ा।

87. They had almost consumed me upon earth, but I forsook not Your precepts.

88. अपनी करूणा के अनुसार मुझ को जिला, तब मैं तेरी दी हुई चितौनी को मानूंगा।।

88. According to Your steadfast love give life to me; then I will keep the testimony of Your mouth [hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying it].

89. हे यहोवा, तेरा वचन, आकाश में सदा तक स्थिर रहता है।

89. Forever, O Lord, Your word is settled in heaven [stands firm as the heavens]. [Ps. 89:2; Matt. 24:34, 35; I Pet. 1:25.]

90. तेरी सच्चाई पीढ़ी से पीढ़ी तक बनी रहती है; तू ने पृथ्वी को स्थिर किया, इसलिये वह बनी है।

90. Your faithfulness is from generation to generation; You have established the earth, and it stands fast.

91. वे आज के दिन तक तेरे नियमों के अनुसार ठहरे हैं; क्योंकि सारी सृष्टि तेरे अधीन है।

91. All [the whole universe] are Your servants; therefore they continue this day according to Your ordinances. [Jer. 33:25.]

92. यदि मैं तेरी व्यवस्था से सुखी न होता, तो मैं दु:ख के समय नाश हो जाता।

92. Unless Your law had been my delight, I would have perished in my affliction.

93. मैं तेरे उपदेशों को कभी न भूलूंगा; क्योंकि उन्हीं के द्वारा तू ने मुझे जिलाया है।

93. I will never forget Your precepts, [how can I?] for it is by them You have quickened me (granted me life).

94. मैं तेरा ही हूं, तू मेरा उद्धार कर; क्योंकि मैं तेरे उपदेशों की सुधि रखता हूं।

94. I am Yours, therefore save me [Your own]; for I have sought (inquired of and for) Your precepts and required them [as my urgent need]. [Ps. 42:1.]

95. दुष्ट मेरा नाश करने के लिये मेरी घात में लगे हैं; परन्तु मैं तेरी चितौनियों पर ध्यान करता हूं।

95. The wicked wait for me to destroy me, but I will consider Your testimonies.

96. जितनी बातें पूरी जान पड़ती हैं, उन सब को तो मैं ने अधूरी पाया है, परन्तु तेरी आज्ञा का विस्तार बड़ा है।।

96. I have seen that everything [human] has its limits and end [no matter how extensive, noble, and excellent]; but Your commandment is exceedingly broad and extends without limits [into eternity]. [Rom. 3:10-19.]

97. अहा! मैं तेरी व्यवस्था में कैसी प्रीति रखता हूं! दिन भर मेरा ध्यान उसी पर लगा रहता है।

97. Oh, how love I Your law! It is my meditation all the day. [Ps. 1:2.]

98. तू अपनी आज्ञाओं के द्वारा मुझे अपने शत्रुओं से अधिक बुद्धिमान करता है, क्योंकि वे सदा मेरे मन में रहती हैं।

98. You, through Your commandments, make me wiser than my enemies, for [Your words] are ever before me.

99. मैं अपने सब शिक्षकों से भी अधिक समझ रखता हूं, क्योंकि मेरा ध्यान तेरी चितौनियों पर लगा है।

99. I have better understanding and deeper insight than all my teachers, because Your testimonies are my meditation. [II Tim. 3:15.]

100. मैं पुरनियों से भी समझदार हूं, क्योंकि मैं तेरे उपदेशों को पकड़े हुए हूं।

100. I understand more than the aged, because I keep Your precepts [hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying them].

101. मैं ने अपने पांवों को हर एक बुरे रास्ते से रोक रखा है, जिस से मैं तेरे वचन के अनुसार चलूं।

101. I have restrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep Your word [hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying it]. [Prov. 1:15.]

102. मैं तेरे नियमों से नहीं हटा, क्योंकि तू ही ने मुझे शिक्षा दी है।

102. I have not turned aside from Your ordinances, for You Yourself have taught me.

103. तेरे वचन मुझ को कैसे मीठे लगते हैं, वे मेरे मुंह में मधु से भी मीठे हैं!

103. How sweet are Your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth! [Ps. 19:10; Prov. 8:11.]

104. तेरे उपदेशों के कारण मैं समझदार हो जाता हूं, इसलिये मैं सब मिथ्या मार्गों से बैर रखता हूं।।

104. Through Your precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way.

105. तेरा वचन मेरे पांव के लिये दीपक, और मेरे मार्ग के लिये उजियाला है।

105. Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. [Prov. 6:23.]

106. मैं ने शपथ खाई, और ठाना भी है कि मैं तेरे धर्मपय नियमों के अनुसार चलूंगा।

106. I have sworn [an oath] and have confirmed it, that I will keep Your righteous ordinances [hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying them]. [Neh. 10:29.]

107. मैं अत्यन्त दु:ख में पड़ा हूं; हे यहोवा, अपने वचन के अनुसार मुझे जिला।

107. I am sorely afflicted; renew and quicken me [give me life], O Lord, according to Your word!

108. हे यहोवा, मेरे वचनों को स्वेच्छाबलि जानकर ग्रहण कर, और अपने नियमों को मुझे सिखा।

108. Accept, I beseech You, the freewill offerings of my mouth, O Lord, and teach me Your ordinances. [Hos. 14:2; Heb. 13:15.]

109. मेरा प्राण निरन्तर मेरी हथेली पर रहता है, तौभी मैं तेरी व्यवस्था को भूल नहीं गया।

109. My life is continually in my hand, yet I do not forget Your law.

110. दुष्टों ने मेरे लिये फन्दा लगाया है, परन्तु मैं तेरे उपदेशों के मार्ग से नहीं भटका।

110. The wicked have laid a snare for me, yet I do not stray from Your precepts.

111. मैं ने तेरी चितौनियों को सदा के लिये अपना निज भाग कर लिया है, क्योंकि वे मेरे हृदय के हर्ष का कारण है।

111. Your testimonies have I taken as a heritage forever, for they are the rejoicing of my heart. [Deut. 33:4.]

112. मैं ने अपने मन को इस बात पर लगाया है, कि अन्त तक तेरी विधियों पर सदा चलता रहूं।

112. I have inclined my heart to perform Your statutes forever, even to the end.

113. मैं दुचित्तों से तो बैर रखता हूं, परन्तु तेरी व्यवस्था से प्रीति रखता हूं।

113. I hate the thoughts of undecided [in religion], double-minded people, but Your law do I love.

114. तू मेरी आड़ और ढ़ाल है; मेरी आशा तेरे वचन पर है।

114. You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in Your word. [Ps. 32:7; 91:1.]

115. हे कुकर्मियों, मुझ से दूर हो जाओ, कि मैं अपने परमेश्वर की आज्ञाओं को पकड़े रहूं।

115. Depart from me, you evildoers, that I may keep the commandments of my God [hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying them]. [Ps. 6:8; 139:19; Matt. 7:23.]

116. हे यहोवा, अपने वचन के अनुसार मुझे सम्भाल, कि मैं जीवित रहूं, और मेरी आशा को न तोड़!

116. Uphold me according to Your promise, that I may live; and let me not be put to shame in my hope! [Ps. 25:2; Rom. 5:5; 9:33; 10:11.]

117. मुझे थांभ रख, तब मैं बचा रहूंगा, और निरन्तर तेरी विधियों की ओर चित्त लगाए रहूंगा!

117. Hold me up, that I may be safe and have regard for Your statutes continually!

118. जितने तेरी विधियों के मार्ग से भटक जाते हैं, उन सब को तू तुच्छ जानता है, क्योंकि उनकी चतुराई झूठ है।

118. You spurn and set at nought all those who stray from Your statutes, for their own lying deceives them and their tricks are in vain.

119. तू ने पृथ्वी के सब दुष्टों को धातु के मैल के समान दूर किया है; इस कारण मैं तेरी चितौनियों में प्रीति रखता हूं।

119. You put away and count as dross all the wicked of the earth [for there is no true metal in them]; therefore I love Your testimonies.

120. तेरे भय से मेरा शरीर कांप उठता है, और मैं तेरे नियमों से डरता हूं।।

120. My flesh trembles and shudders for fear and reverential, worshipful awe of You, and I am afraid and in dread of Your judgments.

121. मैं ने तो न्याय और धर्म का काम किया है; तू मुझे अन्धेर करनेवालों के हाथ में न छोड़।

121. I have done justice and righteousness; leave me not to those who would oppress me.

122. अपने दास की भलाई के लिये जामिन हो, ताकि अभिमानी मुझ पर अन्धेर न करने पांए।

122. Be surety for Your servant for good [as Judah was surety for the safety of Benjamin]; let not the proud oppress me. [Gen. 43:9.]

123. मेरी आंखें तुझ से उद्धार पाने, और तेरे धर्ममय वचन के पूरे होने की बाट जोहते जोहते रह गई हैं।

123. My eyes fail, watching for Your salvation and for the fulfillment of Your righteous promise.

124. अपने दास के संग अपनी करूणा के अनुसार बर्ताव कर, और अपनी विधियां मुझे सिखा।

124. Deal with Your servant according to Your mercy and loving-kindness, and teach me Your statutes.

125. मैं तेरा दास हूं, तू मुझे समझ दे कि मैं तेरी चितौनियों को समझूं।

125. I am Your servant; give me understanding (discernment and comprehension), that I may know (discern and be familiar with the character of) Your testimonies.

126. वह समय आया है, कि यहोवा काम करे, क्योंकि लोगों ने तेरी व्यवस्था को तोड़ दिया है।

126. It is time for the Lord to act; they have frustrated Your law.

127. इस कारण मैं तेरी आज्ञाओं को सोने से वरन कुन्दन से भी अधिक प्रिय मानता हूं।

127. Therefore I love Your commandments more than [resplendent] gold, yes, more than [perfectly] refined gold.

128. इसी कारण मैं तेरे सब उपदेशों को सब विषयों में ठीक जानता हूं; और सब मिथ्या मार्गों से बैर रखता हूं।।

128. Therefore I esteem as right all, yes, all Your precepts; I hate every false way.

129. तेरी चितौनियां अनूप हैं, इस कारण मैं उन्हें अपने जी से पकड़े हुए हूं।

129. Your testimonies are wonderful [far exceeding anything conceived by man]; therefore my [penitent] self keeps them [hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying them].

130. तेरी बातों के खुलने से प्राकाश होता है; उस से भोले लोग समझ प्राप्त करते हैं।

130. The entrance and unfolding of Your words give light; their unfolding gives understanding (discernment and comprehension) to the simple.

131. मैं मुंह खोलकर हांफने लगा, क्योंकि मैं तेरी आज्ञाओं का प्यासा था।

131. I opened my mouth and panted [with eager desire], for I longed for Your commandments.

132. जैसी तेरी रीति अपने नाम की प्रीति रखनेवालों से है, वैसे ही मेरी ओर भी फिरकर मुझ पर अनुग्रह कर।

132. Look upon me, be merciful unto me, and show me favor, as is Your way to those who love Your name.

133. मेरे पैरों को अपने वचन के मार्ग पर स्थिर कर, और किसी अनर्थ बात को मुझ पर प्रभुता न करने दे।

133. Establish my steps and direct them by [means of] Your word; let not any iniquity have dominion over me.

134. मुझे मनुष्यों के अन्धेर से छुड़ा ले, तब मैं तेरे उपदेशों को मानूंगा।

134. Deliver me from the oppression of man; so will I keep Your precepts [hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying them]. [Luke 1:74.]

135. अपने दास पर अपने मुख का प्रकाश चमका दे, और अपनी विधियां मुझे सिखा।

135. Make Your face shine [with pleasure] upon Your servant, and teach me Your statutes. [Ps. 4:6.]

136. मेरी आंखों से जल की धारा बहती रहती है, क्योंकि लोग तेरी व्यवस्था को नहीं मानते।।

136. Streams of water run down my eyes, because men do not keep Your law [they hear it not, nor receive it, love it, or obey it].

137. [Rigidly] righteous are You, O Lord, and upright are Your judgments and all expressions of Your will.

138. तू ने अपनी चितौनियों को धर्म और पूरी सत्यता से कहा है।

138. You have commanded and appointed Your testimonies in righteousness and in great faithfulness.

139. मैं तेरी धुन में भस्म हो रहा हूं, क्योंकि मेरे सतानेवाले तेरे वचनों को भूल गए हैं।

139. My zeal has consumed me and cut me off, because my adversaries have forgotten Your words.

140. तेरा वचन पूरी रीति से ताया हुआ है, इसलिये तेरा दास उस में प्रीति रखता है।

140. Your word is very pure (tried and well refined); therefore Your servant loves it.

141. मैं छोटा और तुच्छ हूं, तौभी मैं तेरे उपदेशों को नही भूलता।

141. I am small (insignificant) and despised, but I do not forget Your precepts.

142. तेरा धर्म सदा का धर्म है, और तेरी व्यवस्था सत्य है।

142. Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and Your law is truth. [Ps. 19:9; John 17:17.]

143. मैं संकट और सकेती में फंसा हूं, परन्तु मैं तेरी आज्ञाओं से सुखी हूं।

143. Trouble and anguish have found and taken hold on me, yet Your commandments are my delight.

144. तेरी चितौनियां सदा धर्ममय हैं; तू मुझ को समझ दे कि मैं जीवित रहूं।।

144. Your righteous testimonies are everlasting and Your decrees are binding to eternity; give me understanding and I shall live [give me discernment and comprehension and I shall not die].

145. मैं ने सारे मन से प्रार्थना की है, हे यहोवा मेरी सुन लेना! मैं तेरी विधियों को पकड़े रहूंगा।

145. I cried with my whole heart; hear me, O Lord; I will keep Your statutes [I will hear, receive, love, and obey them].

146. मैं ने तुझ से प्रार्थना की है, तू मेरा उद्धार कर, और मैं तेरी चितौनियों को माना करूंगा।

146. I cried to You; save me, that I may keep Your testimonies [hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying them].

147. मैं ने पौ फटने से पहिले दोहाई दी; मेरी आशा तेरे वचनों पर थी।

147. I anticipated the dawning of the morning and cried [in childlike prayer]; I hoped in Your word.

148. मेरी आंखें रात के एक एक पहर से पहिले खुल गईं, कि मैं तेरे वचन पर ध्यान करूं।

148. My eyes anticipate the night watches and I am awake before the cry of the watchman, that I may meditate on Your word.

149. अपनी करूणा के अनुसार मेरी सुन ले; हे यहोवा, अपनी रीति के अनुसार मुझे जीवित कर।

149. Hear my voice according to Your steadfast love; O Lord, quicken me and give me life according to Your [righteous] decrees.

150. जो दुष्टता में धुन लगाते हैं, वे निकट आ गए हैं; वे तेरी व्यवस्था से दूर हैं।

150. They draw near who follow after wrong thinking and persecute me with wickedness; they are far from Your law.

151. हे यहोवा, तू निकट है, और तेरी सब आज्ञाएं सत्य हैं।

151. You are near, O Lord [nearer to me than my foes], and all Your commandments are truth.

152. बहुत काल से मैं तेरी चितौनियों को जानता हूं, कि तू ने उनकी नेव सदा के लिये डाली है।।

152. Of old have I known Your testimonies, and for a long time, [therefore it is a thoroughly established conviction] that You have founded them forever. [Luke 21:33.]

153. मेरे दु:ख को देखकर मुझे छुड़ा ले, क्योंकि मैं तेरी व्यवस्था को भूल नहीं गया।

153. Consider my affliction and deliver me, for I do not forget Your law.

154. मेरा मुक मा लड़, और मुझे छुड़ा ले; अपने वचन के अनुसार मुझ को जिला।

154. Plead my cause and redeem me; revive me and give me life according to Your word.

155. दुष्टों को उद्धार मिलना कठिन है, क्योंकि वे तेरी विधियों की सुधि नहीं रखते।

155. Salvation is far from the wicked, for they seek not nor hunger for Your statutes.

156. हे यहोवा, तेरी दया तो बड़ी है; इसलिये अपने नियमों के अनुसार मुझे जिला।

156. Great are Your tender mercy and loving-kindness, O Lord; give me life according to Your ordinances.

157. मेरा पीछा करनेवाले और मेरे सतानेवाले बहुत हैं, परन्तु मैं तेरी चितौनियों से नहीं हटता।

157. Many are my persecutors and my adversaries, yet I do not swerve from Your testimonies.

158. मैं विश्वासघातियों को देखकर उदास हुआ, क्योंकि वे तेरे वचन को नहीं मानते।

158. I behold the treacherous and am grieved and loathe them, because they do not respect Your law [neither hearing, receiving, loving, nor obeying it].

159. देख, मैं तेरे नियमों से कैसी प्रीति रखता हूं! हे यहोवा, अपनी करूणा के अनुसार मुझ को जिला।

159. Consider how I love Your precepts; revive me and give life to me, O Lord, according to Your loving-kindness!

160. तेरा सारा वचन सत्य ही है; और तेरा एक एक धर्ममय नियम सदा काल तक अटल है।।

160. The sum of Your word is truth [the total of the full meaning of all Your individual precepts]; and every one of Your righteous decrees endures forever.

161. हाकिम व्यर्थ मेरे पीछे पड़े हैं, परन्तु मेरा हृदय तेरे वचनों का भय मानता है।

161. Princes pursue and persecute me without cause, but my heart stands in awe of Your words [dreading violation of them far more than the force of prince or potentate]. [I Sam. 24:11, 14; 26:18.]

162. जैसे कोई बड़ी लूट पाकर हर्षित होता है, वैसे ही मैं तेरे वचन के कारण हर्षित हूं।

162. I rejoice at Your word as one who finds great spoil.

163. झूठ से तो मैं बैर और घृणा रखता हूं, परन्तु तेरी व्यवस्था से प्रीति रखता हूं।

163. I hate and abhor falsehood, but Your law do I love.

164. तेरे धर्ममय नियमों के कारण मैं प्रतिदिन सात बेर तेरी स्तुति करता हूं।

164. Seven times a day and all day long do I praise You because of Your righteous decrees.

165. तेरी व्यवस्था से प्रीति रखनेवालों को बड़ी शान्ति होती है; और उनको कुछ ठोकर नहीं लगती।

165. Great peace have they who love Your law; nothing shall offend them or make them stumble. [Prov. 3:2; Isa. 32:17.]

166. हे यहोवा, मैं तुझ से उद्धार पाने की आशा रखता हूं; और तेरी आज्ञाओं पर चलता आया हूं।

166. I am hoping and waiting [eagerly] for Your salvation, O Lord, and I do Your commandments. [Gen. 49:18.]

167. मैं तेरी चितौनियों को जी से मानता हूं, और उन से बहुत प्रीति रखता आया हूं।

167. Your testimonies have I kept [hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying them]; I love them exceedingly!

168. मैं तेरे उपदेशों और चितौनियों को मानता आया हूं, क्योंकि मेरी सारी चालचलन तेरे सम्मुख प्रगट है।।

168. I have observed Your precepts and Your testimonies, for all my ways are [fully known] before You.

169. हे यहोवा, मेरी दोहाई तुझ तक पहुंचे; तू अपने वचन के अनुसार मुझे समझ दे!

169. Let my mournful cry and supplication come [near] before You, O Lord; give me understanding (discernment and comprehension) according to Your word [of assurance and promise].

170. मेरा गिड़गिड़ाना तुझ तक पहुंचे; तू अपने वचन के अनुसार मुझे छुड़ा ले।

170. Let my supplication come before You; deliver me according to Your word!

171. मेरे मुंह से स्तुति निकला करे, क्योंकि तू मुझे अपनी विधियां सिखाता है।

171. My lips shall pour forth praise [with thanksgiving and renewed trust] when You teach me Your statutes.

172. मैं तेरे वचन का गीत गाऊंगा, क्योंकि तेरी सब आज्ञाएं धर्ममय हैं।

172. My tongue shall sing [praise for the fulfillment] of Your word, for all Your commandments are righteous.

173. तेरा हाथ मेरी सहायता करने को तैयार रहता है, क्योंकि मैं ने तेरे उपदेशों को अपनाया है।

173. Let Your hand be ready to help me, for I have chosen Your precepts.

174. हे यहोवा, मैं तुझ से उद्धार पाने की अभिलाषा करता हूं, मैं तेरी व्यवस्था से सुखी हूं।

174. I have longed for Your salvation, O Lord, and Your law is my delight.

175. मुझे जिला, और मैं तेरी स्तुति करूंगा, तेरे नियमों से मेरी सहायता हो।

175. Let me live that I may praise You, and let Your decrees help me.

176. मैं खोई हुई भेड़ की नाईं भटका हूं; तू अपने दास को ढूंढ़ ले, क्योंकि मैं तेरी आज्ञाओं को भूल नहीं गया।।

176. I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek, inquire for, and demand Your servant, for I do not forget Your commandments. [Isa. 53:6; Luke 15:4; I Pet. 2:25.]
