1. हे यहोवा, हमारी नहीं, हमारी नहीं, वरन अपने ही नाम की महिमा, अपनी करूणा और सच्चाई के निमित्त कर।

1. Not to us, O LORD, not to us, but to thy name give glory, for thy mercy, [and] for thy truth's sake.

2. जाति जाति के लोग क्यों कहने पांए, कि उनका परमेश्वर कहां रहा?

2. Why should the heathen say, Where [is] now their God?

3. हमारा परमेश्वर तो स्वर्ग में हैं; उस ने जो चाहा वही किया है।

3. But our God [is] in the heavens: he hath done whatever he pleased.

4. उन लोगों की मूरतें सोने चान्दी ही की तो हैं, वे मनुष्यों के हाथ की बनाई हुई हैं।

4. Their idols [are] silver and gold, the work of men's hands.

5. उनक मुंह तो रहता है परन्तु वे बोल नहीं सकती; उनके आंखें तो रहती हैं परन्तु वे देख नहीं सकतीं।

5. They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not:

6. उनके कान तो रहते हैं, परन्तु वे सुन नहीं सकतीं; उनके नाक तो रहती हैं, परन्तु वे सूंघ नहीं सकतीं।

6. They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not:

7. उनके हाथ तो रहते हैं, परन्तु वे स्पर्श नहीं कर सकतीं; उनके पांव तो रहते हैं, परन्तु वे चल नहीं सकतीं; और उनके कण्ठ से कुछ भी शब्द नहीं निकाल सकतीं।

7. They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat.

8. जैसी वे हैं वैसे ही उनके बनानेवाले हैं; और उन पर भरोसा रखनेवाले भी वैसे ही हो जाएंगे।।

8. They that make them are like them; [so is] every one that trusteth in them.

9. हे इस्राएल यहोवा पर भरोसा रख! तेरा सहायक और ढाल वही है।

9. O Israel, trust thou in the LORD: he [is] their help and their shield.

10. हे हारून के घराने यहोवा पर भरोसा रख! तेरा सहायक और ढाल वही है।

10. O house of Aaron, trust in the LORD: he [is] their help and their shield.

11. हे यहोवा के डरवैयो, यहोवा पर भरोसा रखो! तुम्हारा सहायक और ढाल वही है।।

11. Ye that fear the LORD, trust in the LORD: he [is] their help and their shield.

12. यहोवा ने हम को स्मरण किया है; वह आशीष देगा; वह इस्राएल के घराने को आशीष देगा; वह हारून के घराने को आशीष देगा।

12. The LORD hath been mindful of us: he will bless [us]; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron.

13. क्या छोटे क्या बड़े जितने यहोवा के डरवैये हैं, वह उन्हें आशीष देगा।।

13. He will bless them that fear the LORD, [both] small and great.

14. यहोवा तुम को और तुम्हारे लड़कों को भी अधिक बढ़ाता जाए!

14. The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children.

15. यहोवा जो आकाश और पृथ्वी का कर्ता है, उसकी ओर से तुम अशीष पाए हो।।

15. Ye [are] blessed of the LORD who made heaven and earth.

16. स्वर्ग तो यहोवा का है, परन्तु पृथ्वी उस ने मनुष्यों को दी है।

16. The heaven, [even] the heavens, [are] the LORD'S: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.

17. मृतक जितने चुपचाप पड़े हैं, वे तो याह की स्तुति नहीं कर सकते,

17. The dead praise not the LORD, neither any that go down into silence.

18. परन्तु हम लोग याह को अब से लेकर सर्वदा तक धन्य कहते रहेंगे। याह की स्तुति करो!

18. But we will bless the LORD from this time forth and for evermore. Praise the LORD.
