1. हे यहोवा, हमारी नहीं, हमारी नहीं, वरन अपने ही नाम की महिमा, अपनी करूणा और सच्चाई के निमित्त कर।

1. We don't deserve praise! The LORD alone deserves all of the praise, because of his love and faithfulness.

2. जाति जाति के लोग क्यों कहने पांए, कि उनका परमेश्वर कहां रहा?

2. Why should the nations ask, 'Where is your God?'

3. हमारा परमेश्वर तो स्वर्ग में हैं; उस ने जो चाहा वही किया है।

3. Our God is in the heavens, doing as he chooses.

4. उन लोगों की मूरतें सोने चान्दी ही की तो हैं, वे मनुष्यों के हाथ की बनाई हुई हैं।

4. The idols of the nations are made of silver and gold.

5. उनक मुंह तो रहता है परन्तु वे बोल नहीं सकती; उनके आंखें तो रहती हैं परन्तु वे देख नहीं सकतीं।

5. They have a mouth and eyes, but they can't speak or see.

6. उनके कान तो रहते हैं, परन्तु वे सुन नहीं सकतीं; उनके नाक तो रहती हैं, परन्तु वे सूंघ नहीं सकतीं।

6. Their ears can't hear, and their noses can't smell.

7. Their hands have no feeling, their legs don't move, and they can't make a sound.

10. Family of Aaron the priest, you must trust the LORD to help and protect you.

11. हे यहोवा के डरवैयो, यहोवा पर भरोसा रखो! तुम्हारा सहायक और ढाल वही है।।

11. All of you worship the LORD, so you must trust him to help and protect you.

12. यहोवा ने हम को स्मरण किया है; वह आशीष देगा; वह इस्राएल के घराने को आशीष देगा; वह हारून के घराने को आशीष देगा।

12. The LORD will not forget to give us his blessing; he will bless all of Israel and the family of Aaron.

13. All who worship the LORD, no matter who they are, will receive his blessing.

14. यहोवा तुम को और तुम्हारे लड़कों को भी अधिक बढ़ाता जाए!

14. I pray that the LORD will let your family and your descendants always grow strong.

15. यहोवा जो आकाश और पृथ्वी का कर्ता है, उसकी ओर से तुम अशीष पाए हो।।

15. May the LORD who created the heavens and the earth give you his blessing.

16. स्वर्ग तो यहोवा का है, परन्तु पृथ्वी उस ने मनुष्यों को दी है।

16. The LORD has kept the heavens for himself, but he has given the earth to us humans.

17. मृतक जितने चुपचाप पड़े हैं, वे तो याह की स्तुति नहीं कर सकते,

17. The dead are silent and cannot praise the LORD,

18. परन्तु हम लोग याह को अब से लेकर सर्वदा तक धन्य कहते रहेंगे। याह की स्तुति करो!

18. but we will praise him now and forevermore. Shout praises to the LORD!
