1. फिर द्वारपालों के दल ये थे : कोरहियों में से तो मशेलेम्याह, जो कोरे का पुत्रा और आसाप के सन्तानों मेंसे था।

1. Here are the groups of men who guarded the gates. From the family of Korah came Meshelemiah, the son of Kore. Kore was one of the sons of Asaph.

2. और मशेलेम्याह के पुत्रा हुए, अर्थात् उसका जेठा जकर्याह दूसरा यदीएल, तीसरा जवद्याह,

2. Meshelemiah had sons. Zechariah was his first son. Jediael was his second son. Zebadiah was the third. Jathniel was the fourth.

3. चौथा यतीएल, पांचवां एलाम, छठवां यहोहानान और सातवां एल्यहोएनै।

3. Elam was the fifth. Jehohanan was the sixth. And Eliehoenai was the seventh.

4. फिर ओबेदेदोम के भी पुत्रा हुए, उसका जेठा शमायाह, दूसरा यहोजाबाद, तीसरा योआह, चौथा साकार, पांचवां नतनेल,

4. Obed-Edom also had sons. Shemaiah was his first son. Jehozabad was his second son. Joah was the third. Sacar was the fourth. Nethanel was the fifth.

5. छठवां अम्मीएल, सातवां इस्साकार और आठवां पुल्लतै, क्योंकि परमेश्वर ने उसे आशीष दी थी।

5. Ammiel was the sixth. Issachar was the seventh. And Peullethai was the eighth. God had blessed Obed-Edom.

6. और उसके पुत्रा शमायाह के भी पुत्रा उत्पन्न हुए, जो शूरवीर होने के कारण अपने पिता के घराने पर प्रभुता करते थे।

6. His son Shemaiah also had sons. They were leaders in their family. That's because they were men of great ability.

7. शमायाह के पुत्रा ये थे, अर्थात् ओती, रपाएल, ओबेद, एलजाबाद और उनके भाई एलीहू और समक्याह बलवान पुरूष थे।

7. The sons of Shemaiah were Othni, Rephael, Obed and Elzabad. Elzabad's brothers Elihu and Semakiah were also able men.

8. ये सब आबेदेदोम की सन्तान में से थे, वे और उनके पुत्रा और भाई इस सेवकाई के लिये बलवान और शक्तिमान थे; ये ओबेदेदोमी बासठ थे।

8. All of them belonged to the family line of Obed-Edom. They and their sons and relatives were men of ability. They were strong enough to do their work. The total number of men in the family line of Obed-Edom was 62.

9. और मशेलेम्याह के पुत्रा और भाई अठारह थे, जो बलवान थे।

9. Meshelemiah's sons and relatives were able men. Their total number was 18.

10. फिर मरारी के वंश में से होसा के भी पुत्रा थे, अर्थात् मुख्य तो शिम्री ( जिसको जेठा न होने पर भी उसके पिता ने मुख्य ठहराया ),

10. Hosah belonged to the family line of Merari. Hosah's first son was Shimri. But Shimri wasn't the oldest son. His father had made him the first.

11. दूसरा हिल्किरयाह, तीसरा तबल्याह और चौथा जकर्याह था; होसा के सब पुत्रा और भाई मिलकर तेरह थे।

11. Hilkiah was Hosah's second son. Tabaliah was the third. Zechariah was the fourth. The total number of Hosah's sons and relatives was 13.

12. द्वारपालों के दल इन मुख्य पुरूषों के थे, ये अपने भाइयों के बराबर ही यहोवा के भवन में सेवा टहल करते थे।

12. Those groups of men guarded the gates. They worked under their chief men. They served at the Lord's temple, just as their relatives had served.

13. इन्हों ने क्या छोटे, क्या बड़े, अपने अपने पितरों के घरानों के अनुसार एक एक फाटक के लिये चिट्ठी डाली।

13. Lots were cast for each gate, family by family. Young and old alike were chosen.

14. पूर्व की ओर की चिट्ठी शेलेम्याह के नाम पर निकली। तब उन्हों ने उसके पुत्रा जकर्याह के नाम की चिट्ठी डाली ( वह बुध्दिमान मंत्री था ) और चिट्ठी उत्तर की ओर के लिये निकली।

14. The lot that was drawn out for the East Gate was for Shelemiah. Then lots were cast for his son Zechariah. He gave wise advice. The lot that was drawn out for the North Gate was for him.

15. दक्खिन की ओर के लिये ओबोदेदोम के नाम पर चिट्ठी निकली, और उसके बेटों के नाम पर खजाने की कोठरी के लिये।

15. The lot for the South Gate was for Obed-Edom. The lot for the storeroom was for his sons.

16. फिर शुप्पीम और होसा के नामों की चिट्ठी पश्चिम की ओर के लिये निकली, कि वे शल्लेकेत नाम फाटक के पास चढ़ाई की सड़क पर आम्हने साम्हने चौकीदारी किया करें।

16. Lots were drawn out for the West Gate and the Shalleketh Gate on the upper road. Those lots were for Shuppim and Hosah. One guard stood next to another.

17. पूर्व ओर जो छे लेवीय थे, उत्तर की ओर प्रतिदिन चार, दक्खिन की ओर प्रतिदिन चार, और खजाने की कोठरी के पास दो ठहरे।

17. There were six Levites a day on the east. There were four a day on the north. There were four a day on the south. And there were two at a time at the storeroom.

18. पश्चिम ओर के पर्बार नाम स्थान पर ऊंची सड़क के पास तो चार और पर्बार के पास दो रहे।

18. Two Levite guards were at the courtyard to the west. And four were at the road.

19. ये द्वारपालों के दल थे, जिन में से कितने तो कोरह के थे और कितने मरारी के वंश के थे।

19. Those were the groups of the men who guarded the gates. They belonged to the family lines of Korah and Merari.

20. फिर लेवियों में से अहिरयाह परमेश्वर के भवन और पवित्रा की हुई वस्तुओं, दोनों के भण्डारों का अधिकारी नियुक्त हुआ।

20. The Levite relatives of the men who guarded the gates were in charge of the treasures in the house of God. They were also in charge of other treasures that had been set apart for God.

21. ये लादान की सन्तान के थे, अर्थात् गेर्शेनियों की सन्तान जो लादान के कुल के थे, अर्थात् लादान और गेर्शेनी के पितरों के घरानों के मुख्य पुरूष थे, अर्थात् यहोएली ।

21. Ladan was from the family line of Gershon. Some leaders of families belonged to Ladan's family line. One of them was Jehieli.

22. यहोएली के पुत्रा ये थे, अर्थात् जेताम और उसका भाई योएल जो यहोवा के भवन के खजाने के अधिकारी थे।

22. The sons of Jehieli were Zetham and his brother Joel. They were in charge of the treasures in the Lord's temple.

23. अम्रामियों, यिसहारियों, हेब्रोनियों और उज्जीएलियों में से।

23. Here are the officials who were from the family lines of Amram, Izhar, Hebron and Uzziel.

24. और शबूएल जो मूसा के पुत्रा गेर्शेम के वंश का था, वह खजानों का मुख्य अधिकारी था।

24. Shubael was from the family line of Moses' son Gershom. Shubael was the officer in charge of the treasures.

25. और उसके भाइयों का वृत्तान्त यह है : एलीआजर के कुल में उसका पुत्रा रहब्याह, रहब्याह का पुत्रा यशायाह, यशायाह का पुत्रा योराम, योराम का पुत्रा जिक्री, और जिक्री का पुत्रा शलोमोत था।

25. His relatives through Eliezer included his son Rehabiah. Jeshaiah was Rehabiah's son. Joram was Jeshaiah's son. Zicri was Joram's son. And Shelomith was Zicri's son.

26. यही शलोमोत अपने भाइयों समेत उन सब पवित्रा की हुई पस्तुओं के भण्डारों का अधिकारी था, जो राजा दाऊद और पितरों के घरानों के मुख्य मुख्य पुरूषों और सहस्रपतियों और शतपतियों और मुख्य सेनापतियों ने पवित्रा की थीं।

26. Shelomith and his relatives were in charge of all of the treasures that had been set apart for God. King David had set those treasures apart. Some family leaders had also set them apart. They were the commanders of thousands of men and commanders of hundreds. The treasures had also been set apart by other army commanders.

27. जो लूट लड़ाइयों में मिलती थी, उस में से उन्हों ने यहोवा का भवन दृढ़ करने के लिये कुछ पवित्रा किया।

27. Some of the goods that had been taken in battle were set apart to repair the Lord's temple.

28. वरन जितना शमूएल दश , कीश के पुत्रा शाऊल, नेर के पुत्रा अब्नेर, और सरूयाह के पुत्रा योआब ने पवित्रा किया था, और जो कुछ जिस किसी ने पवित्रा कर रखा था, वह सब शलोमोत और उसके भाइयों के अधिकार में था।

28. The prophet Samuel had set apart some things for God. Saul, the son of Kish, had set apart other things. So had Abner, the son of Ner. And so had Joab, the son of Zeruiah. All of those things and all of the others that had been set apart were taken care of by Shelomith and his relatives.

29. यिसहारियों में से कनन्याह और उसके पुत्रा, इस्राएल के देश का काम अर्थात् सरदार और न्यायी का काम करने के लिये नियुक्त हुए।

29. From the family line of Izhar came Kenaniah and his sons. They were given duties that were away from the temple. They were officials and judges over Israel.

30. और हेब्रोनियों में से हशरयाह और उसके भाई जो सत्राह सौ बलवान पुरूष थे, वे यहोवा के सब काम और राजा की सेवा के विषय यरदन की पश्चिम ओर रहनेवाले इस्राएलियों के अणिकारी ठहरे।

30. From the family line of Hebron came Hashabiah and his relatives. They were able men. The total number was 1,700. It was their duty to serve the king in Israel west of the Jordan River. It was also their duty to do all of the Lord's work there.

31. हेब्रोनियों में से यरिरयाह मुख्य था, अर्थात् हेब्रोनियों की पीढ़ी पीढ़ी के पितरों के घरानों के अनुसार दाऊद के राज्य के चालीसवें वर्ष में वे ढूंढ़े गए, और उन में से कई शूरवीर गिलाद के याजेर में मिले।

31. Jeriah was the chief of the family line of Hebron. That's based on their family history. In the 40th year of David's rule, a search was made in the records. That's how men of ability were found in the family line of Hebron at Jazer in Gilead.

32. और उसके भाई जो वीर थे, पितरों के घरानों के दो हाजार सात सौ मुख्य पुरूष थे, इनको दाऊद राजा ने परमेश्वर के सब विषयों और राजा के विषय में रूबेनियों, गादियों और मनश्शेके आधे गोत्रा का अधिकारी ठहराया।

32. Jeriah had 2,700 relatives. They were able men. They were family leaders. King David had put them in charge of the tribes of Reuben and Gad and half of the tribe of Manasseh. They were in charge of matters having to do with God and the king.
