1. फिर हारून की सन्तान के दल ये थे। हारून के पुत्रा तो नादाब, अबीहू, एलीआजर और ईतामार थे।

1. Now, the sons of Aaron, had their courses, the sons of Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar;

2. परन्तु नादाब और अबीहू अपने पिता के साम्हने पुत्राहीन मर गए, इस लिये याजक का काम एलीआजर और ईतामार करते थे।

2. but Nadab and Abihu, died, before their father, and sons, had they none, but Eleazar and Ithamar became priests;

3. और दाऊद ने एलीआजर के वंश के सादोक और ईतामार के वंश के अहांमेलेक की सहायता से उनको अपनी अपनी सेवा के अनुसार दल दल करके बांट दिया।

3. and David apportioned to them courses, both to Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and to Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, by their appointed place in their service.

4. और एलीआजर के वंश के मुख्य पुरूष, ईतामार के वंश के मुख्य पुरूषों से अधिक थे, और वे यों बांटे गए अर्थात् एलीआजर के वंश के पितरों के घरानों के सोलह, और ईतामार के वंश के पितरों के घरानों के आठ मुख्य पुरूष थे।

4. But the sons of Eleazar were found to be more numerous, by the chiefs of their able men, than were the sons of Ithamar, so they divided them, the sons of Eleazar, had chiefs, of the ancestral house, sixteen, whereas, the sons of Ithamar, had of their ancestral house, eight.

5. तब वे चिट्ठी डालकर बराबर बराबर बांटे गए, क्योंकि एलीआजर और ईतामार दोनों के वंशों में पवित्रास्थान के हाकिम और परमेश्वर के हाकिम नियुक्त हुए थे।

5. They divided them, therefore, by casting lots, these with those, for there were princes of the sanctuary, and princes of God, from among the sons of Eleazar, and among the sons of Ithamar.

6. और नतनेल के पुत्रा शमायाह ने जो लेवीय था, उनके नाम राजा और हाकिमों और सादोक याजक, और एब्यातार के पुत्रा अहीमेलेक और याजकों और लेवियों के पितरों के घरानों के मुख्य पुरूषोंके साम्हने लिखे; अर्थात् पितरों का एक घराना तो एलीआजर के वंश में से और एक ईतामार के वंश में से लिया गया।

6. And Shemaiah son of Nethanel the scribe from among the Levites, wrote them down, before the king and the rulers and Zadok the priest, and Ahimelech son of Abiathar, and the ancestral chiefs, pertaining to the priests and to the Levites, one ancestral house, was taken for Eleazar, and, was equally taken, for Ithamar.

7. पहिली चिट्ठी तो यहोयारीब के, और दूसरी यदायाह,

7. So then the first lot came forth for Jehoiarib, for Jedaiah, the second;

8. तीसरी हारीम के, चौथी सोरीम के,

8. for Harim, the third, for Seorim, the fourth;

9. for Malchijah, the fifth, for Mijamin, the sixth;

10. for Hakkoz, the seventh, for Abijah, the eighth;

11. सातवीं हक्कोस के, आठवीं अबिरयाह के,

11. for Jeshua, the ninth, for Shecaniah, the tenth;

12. नौवीं येहाू के, दसवीं शकन्याह के,

12. for Eliashib, the eleventh, for Jakim, the twelfth;

13. ग्यारहवीं एल्याशीब के, बारहवीं याकीम के,

13. for Huppah, the thirteenth, for Jeshebeab, the fourteenth;

14. तेरहवीं हुप्पा के, चौदहवीं येसेबाब के,

14. for Bilgah, the fifteenth, for Immer, the sixteenth;

15. पन्द्रहवीं बिल्गा के, लोलहवीं इम्मेर के,

15. for Hezir, the seventeenth, for Happizzez, the eighteenth;

16. सतरहवीं हेजीर के, अठारहवीं हप्पित्सेस के,

16. for Pethahiah, the nineteenth, for Jehezkel, the twentieth;

17. उन्नीसवीं पतह्माह के, बीसवीं यहेजकेल के,

17. for Jachin, the twenty-first, for Gamul, the twenty-second;

18. इक्कीसवीं याकीन के, बाईसवीं गामूल के,

18. for Delaiah, the twenty-third, for Maaziah, the twenty-fourth.

19. तेईसवीं दलायाह के, और चौबीसवीं साज्याह के नाम पर निकलीं।

19. These, were their appointed places for their service, for entering the house of Yahweh, according to the regulation of them, by the hand of Aaron their father, just as Yahweh God of Israel, commanded him.

20. उनकी सेवकाई के लिये उनका यही नियम ठहराया गया कि वे अपने उस नियम के अनुसार जो इस्राएल के परमेश्वर यहोवा की आज्ञा के अनुसार उनके मूलपुरूष हारून ने चलाया था, यहोवा के भवन में जाया करें।

20. Now, as for the sons of Levi who remained, of the sons of Amram, Shubael, of the sons of Shubael, Jehdeiah.

21. बचे हुए लेवियों में से अम्राम के वंश में से शूबाएल, शूबाएल के वंश में से येहदयाह।

21. Of Rehabiah, of the sons of Rehabiah, the chief Isshiah;

22. बचा रहब्याह, सोरहब्याह, के वंश में से यिश्शिरयाह मुख्य था।

22. of the Izharites, Shelomoth, of the sons of Shelomoth, Jahath;

23. इसहारियों में से शलोमोत और हालोमोत के वंश में से यहत।

23. and, the sons of Hebron , Jeriah, Amariah, the second, Jehaziel, the third, Jekameam, the fourth;

24. और हेब्रोन के वंश में से मुख्य तो यरिरयाह, दूसरा अमर्याह, तीसरा यहजीएल, और चौथा यकमाम।

24. the sons of Uzziel, Micah, of the sons of Micah, Shamir;

25. उज्जीएल के वंश में से मीका और मीका के वंश में से शामीर।

25. the brother of Micah, Isshiah, of the sons of Isshiah, Zechariah.

26. मीका का भाई यिश्शिरयाह, यिश्शिरयाह के वंश में से जकर्याह।

26. The sons of Merari, Mahli and Mushi, the sons of Jaaziah, Beno;

27. मरारी के पुत्रा महली और मूशी और याजिरयाह का पुत्रा बिनो था।

27. the sons of Merari, of Jaaziah, Beno, and Shoham and Zaccur and Ibri:

28. मरारी के पुत्रा : याजिरयाह से बिनो और शोहम, जक्कू और इब्री थे।

28. of Mahli, Eleazar, who had no sons;

29. महली से, एलीआजर जिसके कोई पुत्रा न था।

29. of Kish the sons of Kish, Jerameel;

30. कीश से कीश के वंश में यरह्मोल।

30. and, the sons of Mushi, Mahli and Eder and Jerimoth. These, were the sons of the Levites, belonging to their ancestral house.

31. और मूशी के पुत्रा, महली, एदेर और यरीमोत। अपने अपने पितरो के घरानों के अनुसार ये ही लेवीय सन्तान के थे।

31. Moreover, they also, cast lots along with their brethren the sons of Aaron, before David the king and Zadok and Ahimelech, and the ancestral chiefs, pertaining to the priests and to the Levites, the ancestral chief along with his younger brethren.
