1. तब परमेश्वर का सन्दूक ले आकर उस तम्हू में रखा गया जो दाऊद ने उसके लिये खड़ा कराया था; और परमेश्वर के साम्हने होमबलि और मेलबलि चढ़ाए गए।

1. They brought in the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it: and they offered burnt offerings and peace-offerings before God.

2. जब दाऊद होमबलि और मेलबलि चढ़ा जूका, तब उस ने यहोवा के नाम से प्रजा को आशीर्वाद दिया।

2. When David had made an end of offering the burnt offering and the peace-offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD.

3. और उस ने क्या पुरूष, क्या स्त्री, सब इस्राएलियों को एक एक रोटी और एक एक टुकड़ा मांस और किशमिश की एक एक टिकिया बंटवा दी।

3. He dealt to everyone of Yisra'el, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a portion of flesh, and a cake of raisins.

4. तब उस ने कई लेवियों को इसलिये ठहरा दिया, कि यहोवा के सत्दूक के साम्हने सेवा टहल किया करें, और इस्राएल के परमेश्वर यहोवा की चर्चा और उसका धन्यवाद और स्तुति किया करें।

4. He appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of the LORD, and to celebrate and to thank and praise the LORD, the God of Yisra'el:

5. उनका मुखिया तो आसाप था, और उसके नीचे जकर्याह था, फिर यीएल, शमीरामोत, यहीएल, मत्तित्याह, एलीआब बनायाह, ओबेदेदोम और यीएल थे; ये तो सारंगियां और वीणाएं लिये हुए थे, और आसाप झांझ पर राग बजाता था।

5. Asaf the chief, and second to him Zekharyah, Ye`i'el, and Shemiramot, and Yechi'el, and Mattityah, and Eli'av, and Benayah, and Obed-edom, and Ye`i'el, with psalteries and with harps; and Asaf with cymbals, sounding aloud;

6. और बनायाह और यहजीएल नाम याजक परमेश्वर की वाचा के सन्दूक के साम्हने नित्य तुरहियां बजाने के लिए नियुक्त किए गए।

6. and Benayah and Yachazi'el the Kohanim with trumpets continually, before the ark of the covenant of God.

7. तब उसी दिन दाऊद ने यहोवा का धन्यवाद करने का काम आसाम और उसके भाइयों को सौंप दिया।

7. Then on that day David first ordained to give thanks to the LORD, by the hand of Asaf and his brothers.

8. यहोवा का धन्यवाद करो, उस से प्रार्थना करो; देश देश में उसके कामों का प्रचार करो।

8. Oh give thanks to the LORD, call on his name; Make known his doings among the peoples.

9. उसका गीत गाओ, उसका भजन करो, उसके सब आश्चर्य- कम का ध्यान करो।

9. Sing to him, sing praises to him; Talk you of all his marvelous works.

10. उसके पवित्रा नाम पर घपंड करो; यहोवा के खोजियों का हृदय आनन्दित हो।

10. Glory you in his holy name; Let the heart of them rejoice who seek the LORD.

11. यहोवा और उसकी सामर्थ की खोज करो; उसके दर्शन के लिए लगातार खोज करो।

11. Seek you the LORD and his strength; Seek his face forever more.

12. उसेक किए हुए आर्श्ख्यकर्म, उसके चमत्कार और न्यायवचन स्मरण करो।

12. Remember his marvelous works that he has done, His wonders, and the judgments of his mouth,

13. हे उसके दास इस्राएल के वंश, हे याकूब की सन्तान तुम जो उसके चुने हुए हो !

13. You seed of Yisra'el his servant, You children of Ya`akov, his chosen ones.

14. वही हमारा परमेश्वर यहोवा है, उसके न्याय के काम पृथ्वी भर में होते हैं।

14. He is the LORD our God; His judgments are in all the eretz.

15. उसकी वाचा को सदा स्मरण रखो, यह वही वचन है जो उस ने हजार पीढ़ियों के लिये ठहरा दिया।

15. Remember his covenant forever, The word which he commanded to a thousand generations,

16. वह वाचा उस ने इब्राहीम के साथ बान्धी, और उसी के विषय उस ने इसहाक से शपथ खाई,

16. The covenant which he made with Avraham, His oath to Yitzchak,

17. और उसी को उस ने याकूब के लिये विधि करके और इस्राएल के लिये सदा की वाचा बान्धकर यह कहकर दृढ़ किया, कि

17. Confirmed the same to Ya`akov for a statute, To Yisra'el for an everlasting covenant,

18. मैं कनान देश तुझी को दूंगा, वह बांट में तुम्हारा निज भाग होगा।

18. Saying, To you will I give the land of Kana`an, The lot of your inheritance;

19. उस समय तो तुम गिनती में थोड़े थे, वरन बहुत ही थोड़े और उस देश में परदेशी थे।

19. When you were but a few men in number, Yes, very few, and foreigners in it;

20. और वे एक जाति से दूसरी जाति में, और एक जाज्य से दूसरे में फिरते तो रहे,

20. They went about from nation to nation, From one kingdom to another people.

21. परन्तु उस ने किसी पनुष्य को उन पर अन्धेर करने न दिया; और वह राजाओं को उनके निमित्त यह धमकी देता था, कि

21. He allowed no man to do them wrong; Yes, he reproved kings for their sakes,

22. मेरे अभिषिक्तों को मत छुओ, और न मेरे नबियों की हानि करो।

22. Saying, Don't touch my anointed ones, Do my prophets no harm.

23. हे समस्त पृथ्वी के लोगो यहोवा का गीत गाओ। प्रतिदिन उसके किए हुए उठ्ठार का शुभ समाचार सुनाते रहो।

23. Sing to the LORD, all the eretz; Show forth his salvation from day to day.

24. अन्यजातियों में उसकी महिमा का, और देश देश के लोगों में उसके आश्चर्य- कम का वर्णन करो।

24. Declare his glory among the nations, His marvelous works among all the peoples.

25. क्योंकि यहोवा महान और स्तुति के अति योग्य है, वह तो सब देवताओं से अधिक भययोग्य है।

25. For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised: He also is to be feared above all gods.

26. क्योंकि देश देश के सब देवता मूर्तियां ही हैं; परन्तु यहोवा ही ने स्वर्ग को बनाया है।

26. For all the gods of the peoples are idols: But the LORD made the heavens.

27. उसके चारों ओर विभव और ऐश्वर्य है; उसके स्थान में सामर्थ और आनन्द है।

27. Honor and majesty are before him: Strength and gladness are in his place.

28. हे देश देश के कुलो, यहोवा का गुणानुवाद करो, यहोवा की महिमा और सामर्थ को मानो।

28. Ascribe to the LORD, you relatives of the peoples, Ascribe to the LORD glory and strength;

29. यहोवा के नाम की महिमा ऐसी मानो जो उसके नाम के योग्य है। भेंट लेकर उसके सम्मुख आओ, पवित्राता से शोभायमान होकर यहोवा को दणडवत करो।

29. Ascribe to the LORD the glory due to his name: Bring an offering, and come before him: Worship the LORD in holy array.

30. हे सारी पृथ्वी के लोगो उसके साम्हने थरथराओ ! जगत ऐसा स्थिर है, कि वह टलने का नहीं।

30. Tremble before him, all the eretz: The world also is established that it can't be moved.

31. आकाश आनन्द करे और पृथ्वी मगन हो, और जाति जाति में लोग कहें, कि यहोवा राजा

31. Let the heavens be glad, and let the eretz rejoice; Let them say among the nations, the LORD reigns.

32. हुआ है। समुद्र और उस में की सब वस्तुएं गरज उठें, मैदान और जो कुछ उस में है सो प्रफुल्लित हों।

32. Let the sea roar, and the fullness of it; Let the field exult, and all that is therein;

33. उसी समय वन के वृक्ष यहोवा के साम्हने जयजयकार करें, क्योंकि वह पृथ्वी का न्याय करने को आनेवाला है।

33. Then shall the trees of the wood sing for joy before the LORD; For he comes to judge the eretz.

34. यहोवा का धन्यवाद करो, क्योंकि वह भला है; उसकी करूणा सदा की है।

34. Oh give thanks to the LORD; for he is good; For his loving kindness endures forever.

35. और यह कहो, कि हे हमारे उठ्ठार करनेवाले परमेश्वर हमारा उठ्ठार कर, और हम को इकट्ठा करके अन्यजातियों से छुड़ा, कि हम तेरे पवित्रा नाम का धन्यवाद करें, और तेरी स्तुति करते हुए तेरे विषय बड़ाई करें।
प्रेरितों के काम 26:17

35. Say you, Save us, God of our salvation, Gather us together and deliver us from the nations, To give thanks to your holy name, To triumph in your praise.

36. अनादिकाल से अनन्तकाल तक इस्राएल का परमेश्वर यहोवा धन्य है। तब सब प्रजा ने आमीन कहा : और यहोवा की स्तुति की।

36. Blessed be the LORD, the God of Yisra'el, From everlasting even to everlasting. All the people said, Amein, and praised the LORD.

37. तब उस ने वहां अर्थात् यहोवा की वाचा के सन्दूक के साम्हने आसाप और उसके भाइयों को छोड़ दिया, कि प्रतिदिन के प्रयोजन के अनुसार वे सन्दूक के साम्हने नित्य सेवा टहल किया करें !

37. So he left there, before the ark of the covenant of the LORD, Asaf and his brothers, to minister before the ark continually, as every day's work required;

38. और अड़सठ भाइयों समेत ओबेदेदोम को, और द्वारपालों के लिये यदूतून के पुत्रा ओबेदेदोम और होसा को छोड़ दिया।

38. and Obed-edom with their brothers, sixty-eight; Obed-edom also the son of Yedutun and Hosah to be doorkeepers;

39. फिर उस ने सादोक याजक और उसके भाई याजकों को यहोवा के निवास के साम्हने, जो गिबोन के ऊंचे स्थान में था, ठहरा दिया,

39. and Tzadok the Kohen, and his brothers the Kohanim, before the tent of the LORD in the high place that was at Giv`on,

40. कि वे नित्य सवेरे और सांझ को होमबलि की वेदी पर यहोवा को होमबलि चढ़ाया करें, और उन सब के अनुसार किया करें, जो यहोवा की रयवस्था में लिखा है, जिसे उस ने इस्राएल को दिया था।

40. to offer burnt offerings to the LORD on the altar of burnt offering continually morning and evening, even according to all that is written in the law of the LORD, which he commanded to Yisra'el;

41. और उनके संग उस ने हेमान और यदूतून और दूसरों को भी जो नाम लेकर चुने गए थे ठहरा दिया, कि यहोवा की सदा की करूणा के कारण उसका धन्यवाद करें।

41. and with them Heman and Yedutun, and the rest who were chosen, who were mentioned by name, to give thanks to the LORD, because his loving kindness endures forever;

42. और उनके संग उस ने हेमान और यदूतून को बजानेवालों के लिये तुरहियां और झांझें और परमेश्वर के गीत गाने के लिये बाजे दिए, और यदूतून के बेटों को फाटक की रखवाली करने को ठहरा दिया।

42. and with them Heman and Yedutun with trumpets and cymbals for those that should sound aloud, and with instruments for the songs of God; and the sons of Yedutun to be at the gate.

43. निदान प्रजा के सब लोग अपने अपने घर चले गए, और दाऊद अपने घराने को आशीर्वाद देने लौट गया।

43. All the people departed every man to his house: and David returned to bless his house.
