1. नूह के पुत्रा जो शेम, हाम और येपेत थे उनके पुत्रा जलप्रलय के पश्चात् उत्पन्न हुए : उनकी वंशावली यह है।।

1. Now these are the generations of the sonnes of Noah, Shem, Ham and Iapheth: vnto whom sonnes were borne after the flood.

2. येपेत के पुत्रा : गोमेर, मागोग, मादै, यावान, तूबल, मेशेक, और तीरास हुए।

2. The sonnes of Iapheth were Gomer and Magog, and Madai, and Iauan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.

3. और गोमेर के पुत्रा : अशकनज, रीपत, और तोगर्मा हुए।

3. And the sonnes of Gomer, Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.

4. और यावान के वंश में एलीशा, और तर्शीश, और कित्ती, और दोदानी लोग हुए।

4. Also the sonnes of Iauan, Elishah and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.

5. इनके वंश अन्यजातियों के द्वीपों के देशों में ऐसे बंट गए, कि वे भिन्न भिन्न भाषाओं, कुलों, और जातियों के अनुसार अलग अलग हो गए।।

5. Of these were the yles of the Gentiles deuided in their landes, euery man after his tongue, and after their families in their nations.

6. फिर हाम के पुत्रा : कूश, और मि , और फूत और कनान हुए।

6. Moreouer, ye sonnes of Ham were Cush, and Mizraim, and Put, and Canaan.

7. और कूश के पुत्रा सबा, हवीला, सबता, रामा, और सबूतका हुए : और रामा के पुत्रा शबा और ददान हुए।

7. And the sonnes of Cush, Seba and Hauilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabtecha: also the sonnes of Raamah were Sheba and Dedan.

8. और कूश के वंश में निम्रोद भी हुआ; पृथ्वी पर पहिला वीर वही हुआ है।

8. And Cush begate Nimrod, who began to be mightie in the earth.

9. वही यहोवा की दृष्टि में पराक्रमी शिकार खेलनेवाला ठहरा, इस से यह कहावत चली है; कि निम्रोद के समान यहोवा की दृष्टि में पराक्रमी शिकार खेलनेवाला।

9. He was a mightie hunter before the Lord. wherefore it is saide, As Nimrod the mightie hunter before the Lord.

10. और उसके राज्य का आरम्भ शिनार देश में बाबुल, अक्कद, और कलने हुआ।

10. And the beginning of his kingdome was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.

11. उस देश से वह निकलकर अश्शूर् को गया, और नीनवे, रहोबोतीर, और कालह को,

11. Out of that land came Asshur, and builded Niniueh, and the citie Rehoboth, and Calah:

12. और नीनवे और कालह के बीच रेसेन है, उसे भी बसाया, बड़ा नगर यही है।

12. Resen also betweene Niniueh and Calah: this is a great citie.

13. और मि के वंश में लूदी, अनामी, लहाबी, नप्तूही,

13. And Mizraim begate Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim.

14. और पत्रुसी, कसलूही, और कप्तोरी लोग हुए, कसलूहियों मे से तो पलिश्ती लोग निकले।।

14. Pathrusim also, and Casluhim (out of whom came the Philistims) and Caphtorims.

15. फिर कनान के वंश में उसका ज्येष्ठ सीदोन, तब हित्त,

15. Also Canaan begat Zidon his first borne, and Heth,

16. और यबूसी, एमोरी, गिर्गाशी,

16. And Iebusi, and Emori, and Girgashi,

17. हिव्वी, अर्की, सीनी,

17. And Hiui, and Arki, and Sini,

18. अर्वदी, समारी, और हमाती लोग भी हुए : फिर कनानियों के कुल भी फैल गए।

18. And Aruadi, and Zemari, and Hamathi: and afterwarde were the families of the Canaanites spred abroade.

19. और कनानियों का सिवाना सीदोन से लेकर गरार के मार्ग से होकर अज्जा तक और फिर सदोम और अमोरा और अदमा और सबोयीम के मार्ग से होकर लाशा तक हुआ।

19. Then the border of the Canaanites was from Zidon, as thou commest to Gerar vntil Azzah, and as thou goest vnto Sodom, and Gomorah, and Admah, and Zeboijm, euen vnto Lasha.

20. हाम के वंश में ये ही हुए; और ये भिन्न भिन्न कुलों, भाषाओं, देशों, और जातियों के अनुसार अलग अलग हो गए।।

20. These are the sonnes of Ham according to their families, according to their tongues in their countries and in their nations.

21. फिर शेम, जो सब एबेरवंशियों का मूलपुरूष हुआ, और जो येपेत का ज्येष्ठ भाई था, उसके भी पुत्रा उत्पन्न हुए।

21. Vnto Shem also the father of all the sonnes of Eber, and elder brother of Iapheth were children borne.

22. शेम के पुत्रा : एलाम, अश्शूर्, अर्पक्षद्, लूद और आराम हुए।

22. The sonnes of Shem were Elam and Asshur, and Arpachshad, and Lud, and Aram.

23. और आराम के पुत्रा : ऊस, हूल, गेतेर और मश हुए।

23. And the sonnes of Aram, Vz and Hul, and Gether and Mash.

24. और अर्पक्षद् ने शेलह को, और शेलह ने एबेर को जन्म दिया।

24. Also Arpachshad begate Shelah, and Shelah begate Eber.

25. और एबेर के दो पुत्रा उत्पन्न हुए, एक का नाम पेलेग इस कारण रखा गया कि उसके दिनों में पृथ्वी बंट गई, और उसके भाई का नाम योक्तान है।

25. Vnto Eber also were borne two sonnes: the name of the one was Peleg: for in his dayes was the earth diuided: and his brothers name was Ioktan.

26. और योक्तान ने अल्मोदाद, शेलेप, हसर्मावेत, येरह,

26. Then Ioktan begate Almodad and Sheleph, and Hazarmaueth, and Ierah,

27. यदोरवाम, ऊजाल, दिक्ला,

27. And Hadoram, and Vzal, and Dicklah,

28. ओबाल, अबीमाएल, शबा,

28. And Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba,

29. ओपीर, हवीला, और योबाब को जन्म दिया : ये ही सब योक्तान के पुत्रा हुए।

29. And Ophir, and Hauilah, and Iobab: all these were the sonnes of Ioktan.

30. इनके रहने का स्थान मेशा से लेकर सपारा जो पूर्व में एक पहाड़ है, उसके मार्ग तक हुआ।

30. And their dwelling was from Mesha, as thou goest vnto Sephar a mount of the East.

31. शेम के पुत्रा ये ही हुए; और ये भिन्न भिन्न कुलों, भाषाओं, देशों और जातियों के अनुसार अलग अलग हो गए।।

31. These are the sonnes of Shem according to their families, according to their tongues, in their countreis and nations.

32. नूह के पुत्रों के घराने ये ही हैं : और उनकी जातियों के अनुसार उनकी वंशावलियां ये ही हैं; और जलप्रलय के पश्चात् पृथ्वी भर की जातियां इन्हीं में से होकर बंट गई।।

32. These are the families of the sonnes of Noah, after their generations among their people: and out of these were the nations diuided in the earth after the flood.
