1. इस्राएल के ये पुत्रा हुए; रूबेन, शिमोन, लेवी, सहूदा, इस्साकार, जबूलून, दान।

1. These are the sons of Israel; Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, Issachar and Zebulun;

2. यूसुफ, बिन्यामीन, नन्ताली, गाद और आशेर।

2. Dan, Joseph and Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad and Asher.

3. यहूदा के ये पुत्रा हुए : एर, ओनान और शेला, उसके ये तीनों पुत्रा, बतशू नाम एक कनानी स्त्री से उत्पन्न हुए। और यहूदा का जेठा एर, यहोवा की दृष्टि में बुरा था, इस कारण उस ने उसको मार डाला।

3. The sons of Judah; Er, and Onan, and Shelah: which three were born unto him of Bathshua the Canaanitess. And Er, Judahs firstborn, was wicked in the sight of the LORD; and he slew him.

4. यहूदा की बहू तामार से पेरेस और जेरह उत्पन्न हुए। यहूदा के सब पुत्रा पांच हुए।

4. And Tamar his daughter in law bare him Perez and Zerah. All the sons of Judah were five.

5. The sons of Perez; Hezron and Hamul.

6. और जेरेह के पुत्रा : जिम्री, एतान, हेमान, कलकोल और दारा सब मिलकर पांच।

6. And the sons of Zerah; Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara: five of them in all.

7. फिर कम का पुत्रा : आकार जो अर्पण की हुई पस्तु के विषय में विश्वासघात करके इस्राएलियों का कष्ट देनेवाला हुआ।

7. And the sons of Carmi; Achar, the troubler of Israel, who committed a trespass in the devoted thing.

8. और एतान का पुत्रा : अजर्याह।

8. And the sons of Ethan; Azariah.

9. हेस्रोन के जो पुत्रा उत्पन्न हुए : यरह्येल, राम और कलूबै।
मत्ती 1:3

9. The sons also of Hezron, that were born unto him; Jerahmeel, and Ram, and Chelubai.

10. और राम से अम्मीनादाब और अम्मीनादाब से नहशोन उत्पन्न हुआ जो यहूदियों का प्रधान बना।

10. And Ram begat Amminadab; and Amminadab begat Nahshon, prince of the children of Judah;

11. और नहशोन से सल्मा और सल्मा से बोअज,

11. and Nahshon begat Salma, and Salma begat Boaz;

12. और बोअज से ओबेद और ओबेद से यिशै उत्पन्न हुआ।

12. and Boaz begat Obed, and Obed begat Jesse;

13. और यिशै से उसका जेठा एलीआब और दूसरा अबीनादाब तीसरा शिमा।

13. and Jesse begat his firstborn Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimea the third;

14. चौथा नतनेल और पांचवां रद्दै छठा ओसेम और सातवां दाऊद उत्पन्न हुआ।

14. Nethanel the fourth, Raddai the fifth;

15. इनकी बहिनें सरूयाह ओर अबीगैल थीं।

15. Ozem the sixth, David the seventh:

16. और सरूयाह के पुत्रा अबीशै, योआब और असाहेल ये तीन थे।

16. and their sisters were Zeruiah and Abigail. And the sons of Zeruiah; Abishai, and Joab, and Asahel, three.

17. और अबीगैल से अमासा उत्पन्न हुआ, और अमासा का पिता इश्माएली येतेर था।

17. And Abigail bare Amasa: and the father of Amasa was Jether the Ishmaelite.

18. हेस्रोन के पुत्रा कालेब के अजूबा नाम एक स्त्री से, और यरीओत से, बेटे उत्पन्न हुए; और इसके पुत्रा ये हूए अर्थात् येशेर, शेबाब और अद न।

18. And Caleb the son of Hezron begat {cf15i children} of Azubah {cf15i his} wife, and of Jerioth: and these were her sons; Jesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.

19. जब अजूबा मर गई, सब कालेब ने एप्रात को ब्याह लिया; और जिससे हूर उत्पन्न हुआ।

19. And Azubah died, and Caleb took unto him Ephrath, which bare him Hur.

20. और हूर से ऊरी और ऊरी से बसलेल उत्पन्न हुआ।

20. And Hur begat Uri, and Uri begat Bezalel.

21. इसके बाद हेस्रोन गिलाद के पिता माकीर की बेटी के पास गया, जिसे उस ने तब ब्याह लिया, जब वह साठ वर्ष का था; और उस से सगूब उत्पन्न हुआ।

21. And afterward Hezron went in to the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead; whom he took {cf15i to wife} when he was threescore years old; and she bare him Segub.

22. और सगूब से याईर जन्मा, जिसके गिलाद देश में तेईस नगर थे।

22. And Segub begat Jair, who had three and twenty cities in the land of Gilead.

23. और गशूर और अराम ने याईर की बस्तियों को और गांवों समेत कनत को, उन से ले लिया; ये सब नगर मिलकर साठ थे। ये सब गिलाद के पिता माकीर के पुत्रा हुए।

23. And Geshur and Aram took the towns of Jair from them, with Kenath, and the villages thereof, even threescore cities. All these were the sons of Machir the father of Gilead:

24. और जब हेस्रोन कालेबेप्राता में मर गया, तब उसकी अबिरयाह नाम स्त्री से अशहूर उत्पन्न हुआ जो तको का पिता हुआ।

24. And after that Hezron was dead in Calebephrathah, then Abijah Hezrons wife bare him Ashhur the father of Tekoa.

25. और हेस्रोन के जेठे यरह्येल के ये पुत्रा हुए : अर्थात् राम जो उसका जेठा था; और बूना, ओरेन, ओसेम और यहिरयाह।

25. And the sons of Jerahmeel the firstborn of Hezron were Ram the firstborn, and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem, Ahijah.

26. और यरह्येल की एक और पत्नी थी, जिसका नाम अतारा था; वह ओनाम की माता थी।

26. And Jerahmeel had another wife, whose name was Atarah; she was the mother of Onam.

27. और यरह्येल के जेठे राम के ये पुत्रा हुए, अर्थात् मास, यामीन और एकेर।

27. And the sons of Ram the firstborn of Jerahmeel were Maaz, and Jamin, and Eker.

28. और ओनाम के पुत्रा शम्मै और यादा हुए। और शम्मै के पुत्रा नादाब और अबीशूर हुए।

28. And the sons of Onam were Shammai, and Jada: and the sons of Shammai; Nadab, and Abishur.

29. और अबीशूर की पत्नी का नाम अबीहैल था, और उस से अहबान और मोलीद उत्पन्न हुए।

29. And the name of the wife of Abishur was Abihail; and she bare him Ahban, and Molid.

30. और नादाब के पुत्रा सेलेद और अत्पैम हुए; सेलेद तो निेसन्तान मर गया। और अत्तैम का पुत्रा यिशी।

30. And the sons of Nadab; Seled, and Appaim: but Seled died without children.

31. और यिशी का पुत्रा शेशान और शेशान का पुत्रा : अहलै।

31. And the sons of Appaim; Ishi. And the sons of Ishi; Sheshan. And the sons of Sheshan; Ahlai.

32. फिर शम्मै के भाई यादा के पुत्रा : येतेर और योनातान हुए; येतेर तो निेसन्तान मर गया।

32. And the sons of Jada the brother of Shammai; Jether, and Jonathan: and Jether died without children.

33. यानातान के पुत्रा पेलेत और जाजा; यरह्येल के पुत्रा ये हुए।

33. And the sons of Jonathan; Peleth, and Zaza. These were the sons of Jerahmeel.

34. शेशान के तो बेटा न हुआ, केवल बेटियां हुई। शेशान के पास यर्हा नाम एक मिस्री दास था।

34. Now Sheshan had no sons, but daughters. And Sheshan had a servant, an Egyptian, whose name was Jarha.

35. और शेशान ने उसको अपनी बेटी ब्याह दी, और उस से अत्तै उत्पन्न हुआ।

35. Sheshan gave his daughter to Jarha his servant to wife; and she bare him Attai.

36. और अत्तै से नातान, नातान से जाबाद।

36. And Attai begat Nathan, and Nathan begat Zabad;

37. जाबाद से एपलाल, एपलाल से ओबेद।

37. and Zabad begat Ephlal, and Ephlal begat Obed;

38. ओबेद से येहू, येहू से अजर्याह।

38. and Obed begat Jehu, and Jehu begat Azariah;

39. अजर्याह से हेलैस, हेलैस से एलासा।

39. and Azariah begat Helez, and Helez begat Eleasah;

40. एलासा से सिस्मै, सिस्मै से शल्लूम।

40. and Eleasah begat Sismai, and Sismai begat Shallum;

41. शल्लूम से यकम्याह और यकम्याह से एलीशामा उत्पन्न हुए।

41. and Shallum begat Jekamiah, and Jekamiah begat Elishama.

42. फिर यरह्येल के भाई कालेब के ये पुत्रा हुए : अर्थात् उसका जेठा मेशा जो जीप का पिता हुआ। और मारेशा का पुत्रा हेब्रोन भी उसी के वंश में हुआ।

42. And the sons of Caleb the brother of Jerahmeel were Mesha his firstborn, which was the father of Ziph; and the sons of Mareshah the father of Hebron.

43. और हेब्रोन के पुत्रा कोरह, तप्पूह, रेकेम और शेमा।

43. And the sons of Hebron; Korah, and Tappuah, and Rekem, and Shema.

44. और शेमा से योर्काम का पिता रहम और रेकेम से शम्मै उत्पन्न हुआ था।

44. And Shema begat Raham, the father of Jorkeam; and Rekem begat Shammai.

45. और शम्मै का पुत्रा माओन हुआ; और माओन बेत्सूर का पिता हुआ।

45. And the son of Shammai was Maon; and Maon was the father of Bethzur.

46. फिर एपा जो कालेब की रखेली थी, उस से हारान, मोसा और गाजेज उत्पन्न हुए; और हारान से गाजेज उत्पन्न हुआ।

46. And Ephah, Calebs concubine, bare Haran, and Moza, and Gazez: and Haran begat Gazez.

47. फिर याहदै के पुत्रा रेगेम, योताम, गेशान, पेलेत, एपा और शाप।

47. And the sons of Jahdai; Regem, and Jotham, and Geshan, and Pelet, and Ephah, and Shaaph.

48. और माका जो कालेब की रखेली थी, उस से शेबेर और तिर्हाना उत्पन्न हुए।

48. Maacah, Calebs concubine, bare Sheber and Tirhanah.

49. फिर उस से मदमन्ना का पिता शाप और मकबेना और गिबा का पिता शबा उत्पन्न हुए। और कालेब की बेटी अकसा थी। कालेब के पुत्रा यें हुए।

49. She bare also Shaaph the father of Madmannah, Sheva the father of Machbena, and the father of Gibea; and the daughter of Caleb was Achsah.

50. एप्राता के जेठे हूर का पुत्रा किर्यत्यारीम का पिता शोबाल।

50. These were the sons of Caleb; the son of Hur, the firstborn of Ephrathah, Shobal the father of Kiriathjearim;

51. बेतलेहेम का पिता सल्मा और बेतगादेर का पिता हारेप।

51. Salma the father of Bethlehem, Hareph the father of Bethgader.

52. और किर्यत्यारीम के पिता शोबाल के वंश में हारोए आधे मनुहोतवासी,

52. And Shobal the father of Kiriathjearim had sons; Haroeh, half of the Menuhoth.

53. और किर्यत्यारीम के कुल अर्थात् यित्री, पूती, शूमाती और मिश्राई और इन से सोराई और एश्ताओली निकले।

53. And the families of Kiriathjearim; the Ithrites, and the Puthites, and the Shumathites, and the Mishraites; of them came the Zorathites and the Eshtaolites.

54. फिर सल्मा के वंश में बेतलेहेम और नतोपाई, अत्रोतबेत्योआब और आधे मानहती, सोरी।

54. The sons of Salma; Bethlehem, the Netophathites, AtrothbethJoab, and half of the Manahathites, the Zorites.

55. फिर याबेस में रहनेवाले लेखकों के कुल अर्थात् तिराती, शिमाती और सूकाती हुए। ये रेकाब के घराने के मूलपुरूष हम्मन के वंशवाले केनी हैं।

55. And the families of scribes which dwelt at Jabez; the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, the Sucathites. These are the Kenites that came of Hammath, the father of the house of Rechab.
