1. Israel's sons were Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun,

2. यूसुफ, बिन्यामीन, नन्ताली, गाद और आशेर।

2. Dan, Joseph, Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.

3. यहूदा के ये पुत्रा हुए : एर, ओनान और शेला, उसके ये तीनों पुत्रा, बतशू नाम एक कनानी स्त्री से उत्पन्न हुए। और यहूदा का जेठा एर, यहोवा की दृष्टि में बुरा था, इस कारण उस ने उसको मार डाला।

3. Judah's sons were Er, Onan, and Shelah. Bathshua was their mother. She was a woman from Canaan. The Lord saw that Judah's first son, Er, was evil. That is why the Lord killed Er.

4. Judah's daughter-in-law Tamar gave birth to Perez and Zerah. So Judah had five sons.

7. फिर कम का पुत्रा : आकार जो अर्पण की हुई पस्तु के विषय में विश्वासघात करके इस्राएलियों का कष्ट देनेवाला हुआ।

7. Zimri's son was Carmi. Carmi's son was Achar. Achar was the man who brought many troubles to Israel. Achar kept the things he took in battle, but he was supposed to give them all to God.

8. और एतान का पुत्रा : अजर्याह।

8. Ethan's son was Azariah.

9. हेस्रोन के जो पुत्रा उत्पन्न हुए : यरह्येल, राम और कलूबै।

9. Hezron's sons were Jerahmeel, Ram, and Caleb.

10. Ram was Amminadab's father, and Amminadab was Nahshon's father. Nahshon was the leader of the people of Judah.

16. और सरूयाह के पुत्रा अबीशै, योआब और असाहेल ये तीन थे।

16. Their sisters were Zeruiah and Abigail. Zeruiah's three sons were Abishai, Joab, and Asahel.

17. और अबीगैल से अमासा उत्पन्न हुआ, और अमासा का पिता इश्माएली येतेर था।

17. Abigail was Amasa's mother. Amasa's father was Jether. Jether was from the Ishmaelites.

18. हेस्रोन के पुत्रा कालेब के अजूबा नाम एक स्त्री से, और यरीओत से, बेटे उत्पन्न हुए; और इसके पुत्रा ये हूए अर्थात् येशेर, शेबाब और अद न।

18. Caleb was Hezron's son. Caleb had children with his wife Azubah. Azubah was the daughter of Jerioth. Azubah's sons were Jesher, Shobab, and Ardon.

19. जब अजूबा मर गई, सब कालेब ने एप्रात को ब्याह लिया; और जिससे हूर उत्पन्न हुआ।

19. When Azubah died, Caleb married Ephrath. Caleb and Ephrath had a son. They named him Hur.

20. और हूर से ऊरी और ऊरी से बसलेल उत्पन्न हुआ।

20. Hur was Uri's father. Uri was Bezalel's father.

21. Later when Hezron was 60 years old, he married Makir's daughter. Makir was the father of Gilead. Hezron had sexual relations with Makir's daughter, and she gave birth to Segub.

22. Segub was Jair's father. Jair had 23 cities in the country of Gilead.

23. But Geshur and Aram took Jair's villages. Among them were Kenath and the small towns around it. There were 60 small towns in all. All of these towns belonged to the sons of Makir, the father of Gilead.

24. और जब हेस्रोन कालेबेप्राता में मर गया, तब उसकी अबिरयाह नाम स्त्री से अशहूर उत्पन्न हुआ जो तको का पिता हुआ।

24. After Hezron died in the town of Caleb Ephrathah, his wife Abijah had his son, who was named Ashhur. Ashhur was the father of Tekoa.

25. और हेस्रोन के जेठे यरह्येल के ये पुत्रा हुए : अर्थात् राम जो उसका जेठा था; और बूना, ओरेन, ओसेम और यहिरयाह।

25. Jerahmeel was Hezron's first son. Jerahmeel's sons were Ram, Bunah, Oren, Ozem, and Ahijah. Ram was Jerahmeel's first son.

26. और यरह्येल की एक और पत्नी थी, जिसका नाम अतारा था; वह ओनाम की माता थी।

26. Jerahmeel had another wife named Atarah. Onam's mother was Atarah.

27. Jerahmeel's first son, Ram, had sons. They were Maaz, Jamin, and Eker.

28. और ओनाम के पुत्रा शम्मै और यादा हुए। और शम्मै के पुत्रा नादाब और अबीशूर हुए।

28. Onam's sons were Shammai and Jada. Shammai's sons were Nadab and Abishur.

29. और अबीशूर की पत्नी का नाम अबीहैल था, और उस से अहबान और मोलीद उत्पन्न हुए।

29. Abishur's wife was named Abihail. They had two sons. Their names were Ahban and Molid.

30. और नादाब के पुत्रा सेलेद और अत्पैम हुए; सेलेद तो निेसन्तान मर गया। और अत्तैम का पुत्रा यिशी।

30. Nadab's sons were Seled and Appaim. Seled died without having children.

31. और यिशी का पुत्रा शेशान और शेशान का पुत्रा : अहलै।

31. Appaim's son was Ishi. Ishi's son was Sheshan. Sheshan's son was Ahlai.

32. फिर शम्मै के भाई यादा के पुत्रा : येतेर और योनातान हुए; येतेर तो निेसन्तान मर गया।

32. Jada was Shammai's brother. Jada's sons were Jether and Jonathan. Jether died without having children.

33. यानातान के पुत्रा पेलेत और जाजा; यरह्येल के पुत्रा ये हुए।

33. Jonathan's sons were Peleth and Zaza. This was the list of Jerahmeel's children.

34. शेशान के तो बेटा न हुआ, केवल बेटियां हुई। शेशान के पास यर्हा नाम एक मिस्री दास था।

34. Sheshan did not have sons. He only had daughters. Sheshan had a servant from Egypt named Jarha.

35. और शेशान ने उसको अपनी बेटी ब्याह दी, और उस से अत्तै उत्पन्न हुआ।

35. Sheshan let his daughter marry Jarha. They had a son. His name was Attai.

36. और अत्तै से नातान, नातान से जाबाद।

36. Attai was Nathan's father. Nathan was Zabad's father.

37. जाबाद से एपलाल, एपलाल से ओबेद।

37. Zabad was Ephlal's father. Ephlal was Obed's father.

38. Obed was Jehu's father. Jehu was Azariah's father.

41. शल्लूम से यकम्याह और यकम्याह से एलीशामा उत्पन्न हुए।

41. Shallum was Jekamiah's father, and Jekamiah was Elishama's father.

42. फिर यरह्येल के भाई कालेब के ये पुत्रा हुए : अर्थात् उसका जेठा मेशा जो जीप का पिता हुआ। और मारेशा का पुत्रा हेब्रोन भी उसी के वंश में हुआ।

42. Caleb was Jerahmeel's brother. Caleb had some sons. His first son was Mesha. Mesha was Ziph's father. There was also Caleb's son Mareshah. Mareshah was the father of Hebron.

43. और हेब्रोन के पुत्रा कोरह, तप्पूह, रेकेम और शेमा।

43. Hebron's sons were Korah, Tappuah, Rekem, and Shema.

44. और शेमा से योर्काम का पिता रहम और रेकेम से शम्मै उत्पन्न हुआ था।

44. Shema was Raham's father. Raham was Jorkeam's father. Rekem was Shammai's father.

45. और शम्मै का पुत्रा माओन हुआ; और माओन बेत्सूर का पिता हुआ।

45. Shammai's son was Maon. Maon was Beth Zur's father.

46. फिर एपा जो कालेब की रखेली थी, उस से हारान, मोसा और गाजेज उत्पन्न हुए; और हारान से गाजेज उत्पन्न हुआ।

46. Caleb's slave woman was named Ephah. Ephah was the mother of Haran, Moza, and Gazez. Haran was Gazez's father.

47. फिर याहदै के पुत्रा रेगेम, योताम, गेशान, पेलेत, एपा और शाप।

47. Jahdai's sons were Regem, Jotham, Geshan, Pelet, Ephah, and Shaaph.

48. Maacah was another slave woman of Caleb. Maacah was the mother of Sheber and Tirhana.
