1. मैं अपनी आंखें पर्वतों की ओर लगाऊंगा। मुझे सहायता कहां से मिलेगी?

1. A Song of degrees. I lift up mine eyes unto the mountains: whence shall my help come?

2. मुझे सहायता यहोवा की ओर से मिलती है, जो आकाश और पृथ्वी का कर्त्ता है।।

2. My help [cometh] from Jehovah, who made the heavens and the earth.

3. वह तेरे पांव को टलने न देगा, तेरा रक्षक कभी न ऊंघे।

3. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved; he that keepeth thee will not slumber.

4. सुन, इस्राएल का रक्षक, न ऊंघेगा और न सोएगा।।

4. Behold, he that keepeth Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

5. यहोवा तेरा रक्षक है; यहोवा तेरी दहिनी ओर तेरी आड़ है।

5. Jehovah is thy keeper, Jehovah is thy shade upon thy right hand;

6. न तो दिन को धूप से, और न रात को चांदनी से तेरी कुछ हाति होगी।।

6. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.

7. यहोवा सारी विपत्ति से तेरी रक्षा करेगा; यह तेरे प्राण की रक्षा करेगा।

7. Jehovah will keep thee from all evil; he will keep thy soul.

8. यहोवा तेरे आने जाने में तेरी रक्षा अब से लेकर सदा तक करता रहेगा।।

8. Jehovah will keep thy going out and thy coming in, from henceforth and for evermore.
